Abstract
A roll comprising a rolled-up stack of cloths or rolled-up strip of cloths adapted to be accommodated in and withdrawn from a container having a withdrawal aperture, the cloths being preferably folded in the longitudinal direction or possibly being connected to one another in the longitudinal direction by tear-off perforations, characterised by a band, a loop of wire, a cord, a rubber ring or the like which encircles the roll to prevent unwinding of the free end of the roll. <IMAGE>
Description
The invention relates to a roll of cloth or a stack of cloths from band-shaped, wound cloths for taking in and taking out of a container with a removal opening.
It is known to endlessly wind up towels in the form of a roll, the towels being connected to one another via tear-off perforations. Such wraps are brought into a removal container, possibly impregnated there with a moisturizing lotion, and are therefore available for later removal by the user in wipes.
It is also common to wrap and wrap towels in a folded form. As a result, the user later has a relatively wide cloth that can be unfolded for use.
However, it is problematic to transport the individual rolls of cloth, which are manufactured by the paper manufacturer, in such a way that they can be easily inserted into the removal containers. The introduction of such cloth rolls is difficult because the loose ends loosen.
The invention is concerned with the problem of facilitating the introduction of the towel rolls of the type mentioned at the outset into the container provided, and in particular thereby ensuring that no folds, tangles or the like occur during the process of inserting the towel rolls into the container.
This is achieved by the features specified in claim 1.
Any type of banderole that encloses the cloth roll and thereby makes it impossible for the free end of the cloth roll to come loose from the wrap can be used as a fastening means.
The banderole can either be produced in a ring or can be assembled from an endless band to form a banderole by joining the ends of the banderole. It is possible to use a welding process if the material of the sleeve is weldable. Adhesive bonds or electrical charges can also be used. Gluing processes can only be used if the glue is compatible with the lotion for impregnating the wipes.
Plastics, for example also a nonwoven material, can be used as the material for the band.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, for example.
This shows a cloth roll according to the invention in a diagrammatic representation.
In the figure, a cloth roll is shown at 10, which was produced by winding a tape. According to the shape of the container to be provided later, the wrap has a flat shape.
With 11 a banderole is designated, which encloses the winding. The end of the winding 10 has been designated 12, and it can be seen that the loose end 12 of the winding 10 does not protrude through the sleeve 11. It can be seen that the cloth roll 10 can be introduced into a container by a simple process, for example mechanical devices can also be used for this process.
