Abstract
A sealing profile to be carried in a recess extending around the periphery of a tunnel segment to provide a seal when such tunnel segments are assembled into a tubular tunnel has a base containing grooves (total number n) running in parallel in the longitudinal direction and channels (total number m) running in the longitudinal direction and which are arranged in a number of rows and offset from one another from row to row in which the profile has m = 3 n (n >/= 4) channels, the channels being arranged in three rows, i.e., from the side next the groove towards the back of the profile according to the following structural principle: channel row A (mA = n + 1> channel row B (mB = n> channel row C (mC = n - 1> The back 11 of the profile may be concave and have lips 14, 15 at its sides. <IMAGE>
Description
The invention relates to a sealing profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
Sealing profiles for tunnel segments made of concrete, cast iron, steel or reinforced concrete are known in different forms, although there are currently three profile groups in this regard:
Group I: The sealing profiles only have groove grooves (DE-U 7 203 419, DE-U 7 229 665, DE-U 7 432 945, DE-C 2 513 365).
Group II: The sealing profiles have groove grooves and a single-row arrangement of the channels (DE-C 2 833 345, GB-B 2 170 561, GB-B 2 178 114, GB-A 2 194 005, GB-A 2 193 541) .
Group III: The sealing profiles have groove grooves and a two-row structure of the channels. In this regard, only two profiles have so far become known.
GB-A 2 017 194 describes a sealing profile in which there are two channels between the two groove grooves arranged on the side. In addition, there are three additional channels offset to the side.
However, sealing profiles with groove grooves arranged on the side have no meaning because of their poor sealing effect.
From GB-A 2 182 987 a sealing profile is known which has three groove grooves on its base side. Four or three channels are arranged in rows. A sealing profile with such a structure is not only characterized by a high sealing performance, but is also versatile in terms of different dimensions (depth and width of the recess, spacing of the segments between one another in the unloaded and loaded state).
The usual distance between the segments in the unloaded state is 8 to 15 mm (GB-A 2 182 987). For tunnel construction with very simple tunnel segments and especially when cornering with parallel rings of conical rings, relatively large gap widths (20 mm and more) must be expected at medium depths of up to 40 m (4 bar). In addition, the maximum closing force is <40 kN / m. For this purpose, the sealing profiles of groups I to III can only be used to a very limited extent.
The object of the invention is now to develop a suitable sealing profile that meets such requirements. This problem is solved by the characterizing part of claim 1.
The invention is explained below using exemplary embodiments with reference to two schematic drawings.
1, the joint 1 (longitudinal or transverse joint) of two adjacent segments 2, 3 is to be sealed with a gap width of approximately 20 mm (unloaded state). For this purpose, the sealing profiles 6, 7 made of rubber or rubber-like material are inserted into the recesses 4, 5. Each sealing profile has four uniform groove grooves 8, all of which are located on the base side. The overlying a total of twelve uniform channels 9 are arranged in three rows A, B, C, from the groove side to the back with five A, four B and three C channels. The channels have almost the same distance within a row and from row to row. The profile back 10 is slightly concave.
2, the profile back 11 of the sealing profiles 12, 13 is also slightly concave, but which additionally has lateral lips 14, 15. This profile back shape increases the sealing performance.
