Abstract

The wrist watch includes a ring (1) which is mounted to turn on the watch casing (2). Sealing joints (3,4) lie between the casing and the ring, and these are held in compression. An internal slot within the ring accommodates a set of diaphragm elements inside the watch, beneath the watch glass (5) but above the watch face (15).
