Abstract

The portable lamp has a rapid-recharge battery and consists of two parts (4,8) held together by screws to form a protective casing. A reflector (1) has the lamp protected by a transparent screen (2). A base part (5) has a handgrip (4) with a contact for recharging the battery and an upper rotary hook projecting from the lamp body. The base part has two contacts correspond to the contacts in the cylindrical seat of a charging part for rapid recharging using ac or dc. The seat of the charging part has a device protecting the battery from overheating due to overload by voltage, current or charge duration.
