BESCHREIBUNG
In diesen zeigen:
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 1,
Fig. 10 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 9 und
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Such devices are used, for example, to wet multifilament yarns, which are then textured by means of a gaseous medium emerging from a nozzle under pressure.
It is desirable that such a device for wetting yarns in a wide range of yarn sizes, e.g. from dtex 30 to 5000 can be used. In known devices of the specified type, however, problems arise when a thread knot occurs in a relatively strong yarn. In general, one strives to do that
Make the thread receiving groove as narrow as possible in order to guide the thread laterally in the groove. A thread knot in a relatively strong yarn can therefore jam in the bottom of the groove. If the groove runs straight through the punch with a constant profile, it is also difficult to precisely position thread guides which feed the thread into and out of the groove so that the thread lies against the bottom of the groove and at the mouth of the liquid supply channel without being deflected at the ends of the stamp on edges.
The object of the invention is to provide a device of the type specified, with which the problems and difficulties described are avoided.
The object is achieved with the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
In the device according to the invention, the yarn is guided in the region of the mouth of the liquid supply channel in the relatively small yarn guide groove with the desired precision. The width of the mouth of the liquid supply channel is larger than the width of the yarn guide groove; Therefore, even with large thread thicknesses, the mouth cannot be completely or almost completely covered by the thread. If a knot appears in the thread, it can temporarily lift the thread out of the small groove so that the knot can pass freely. Thanks to the convex curvature of the base and the flanks of the thread guide groove, any misalignments of thread guides in the direction of the depth and the width of the groove are easily compensated for.
Another advantage of the convex curvature of the bottom of the groove is that a liquid meniscus can form between this bottom and the yarn, which causes the yarn to be thoroughly wetted.
Embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawings. In these show:
1 shows a central longitudinal section through the stamp of a wetting device,
2 is a plan view of FIG. 1,
3 is an end view along the line 3-3 in Fig. 1,
4 shows a cross section along the line 4-4 in FIG. 1,
5 shows a cross section along the line 5-5 in FIG. 1,
6 shows a cross section along the line 6-6 in FIG. 1,
7 is a cross section similar to FIG. 6, but with a modified shape of the groove in the punch,
8 is a cross section similar to FIG. 7, but with a modified shape of the yarn guide groove,
9 is a longitudinal section like FIG. 1, but with a modified liquid supply channel,
Fig. 10 is a plan view of Fig. 9 and
11 again shows a longitudinal section as in FIG. 1, but the base of the yarn guide groove has been modified.
1 to 6 show a stamp 10 with a groove 11 which receives a running yarn 12. In the bottom of the groove 11, a yarn guide groove 13 is formed, the bottom of which is convexly curved. A liquid supply channel 14 opens into the groove 11 and the thread guide groove 13, as shown somewhat outside the longitudinal center thereof. The flanks of the thread guide groove 13 are also convexly curved, so that the groove both from the narrowest point in the thread running direction and counter to the thread running direction the mouth of the liquid supply channel 14 becomes wider.
The curvatures of the bottom of the yarn guide groove 13 and the groove 11 and of the flanks of the yarn guide groove have the consequence that misalignment of yarn guides which are connected upstream and downstream of the wetting device, both in the direction of the depth of the yarn guide groove and in the direction of the width thereof, readily occurs can be compensated, the fed and the withdrawn yarn 12 may lie approximately in the angular ranges indicated by broken lines. Another advantage of the curvature of the base of the yarn guide groove 13 and the groove 11 is that a liquid meniscus 15 can form between this base and the running yarn 12.
The radius of curvature K of the bottom of the yarn guide groove 13 in the area of the narrowest point thereof, i.e. in the area of the liquid supply channel 14 is expediently greater than the radius of curvature k of the base of the groove 11 or the groove 13 in the area of the two ends of the stamp 10.
The yarn guide groove 13 has a width b (FIG. 6) and a depth t at its narrowest point. The edges of the groove 13 are very steep at their edges. This results in good lateral guidance of the yarn in the groove. In contrast, the flanks of the groove 11 are only slightly steep at the edges of the groove 13. If a knot occurs in a relatively strong running yarn 12, it can temporarily lift the yarn out of the groove 13. The knot then finds enough space between the flanks of the groove 11 and can pass unhindered.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6, the flanks of the groove 11 are rounded concavely in cross section, and the cross section of the yarn guide groove 13 is approximately semicircular.
Embodiments according to FIGS. 7 and 8 differ from this in that the groove 11 'is essentially V-shaped, that is to say its flanks rise in a straight line in cross section.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, the cross section of the yarn guide groove 13 'is also essentially rectangular instead of semicircular. Other shapes are of course also conceivable.
The width B (FIG. 2) of the liquid supply channel 14 is always greater than the width b of the yarn guide groove 13. The mouth of the channel 14 can therefore not be completely or almost completely covered by the yarn 12 even with larger yarn thicknesses.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 9 and 10 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 to 6 in that the liquid supply channel 14 has an extension 14a in the yarn running direction in the region of its mouth. This ensures that the channel 14 is less easily contaminated.
Spinning oil or other contaminants released from the running yarn 12 collect in the extension 14a and do not run directly into the channel 14.
A similar effect is also achieved with the variant according to FIG. 11. Here, the bottom of the yarn guide groove 13 ″ in the yarn running direction in front of the mouth of the channel 14 has a shoulder 16 which keeps the running yarn 12 at a small distance from the edges of the mouth of the channel 14.
