BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Such a device is e.g. known from DE-PS 2 148 832 and 2 352 853 and from European Patent 0 046 832. In these known devices, the two balancing masses lie one behind the other in the axial direction and thus move in different planes with the rotating body. As a result, these known devices themselves produce a certain dynamic imbalance. If the housing of the known devices on the rotating body, e.g. flanged to the grinding wheel so that the two balancing masses lie on one side outside the grinding wheel, although the two balancing masses lie in different planes, the grinding wheel cannot be dynamically balanced with these known devices.
This could only be achieved if the entire device were axially adjustable within the hub of the rotating body (e.g. the grinding wheel) in such a way that the two balancing masses lie on both sides of the plane in which the center of gravity of the grinding wheel is located.
However, since static balancing alone is sufficient with a conventional, small grinding wheel width, the dynamic imbalance inherent in the known devices is disadvantageous.
The aim is to create a device with which this own dynamic unbalance can be avoided, the device to be created at the same time having a simple and compact structure.
The inventive design of the device results from the characterizing part of claim 1.
The fact that the balancing masses now lie in a single balancing plane means that no dynamic imbalance occurs within the device itself. Since the machine carrying the rotating body (i.e. the grinding machine without grinding wheel) itself is dynamically balanced, only the grinding wheel having a small width now has to be statically balanced, so that the dynamic imbalance which is now not inherent in the device is very advantageous.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown.
Show it:
1 is a device flanged to the rotating body in longitudinal section,
Fig. 2 shows a section along the line II-II of Figure 1, and
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a balancing mass with an adjusting member for its movement.
The rotating body 1 to be balanced can e.g. be a grinding wheel. The device for balancing has a housing part 2 in the form of a bush and a cover 3 fastened thereon. The housing 2, 3 is mounted directly on the grinding wheel 1 via a flange 4, so that the components 1-4 rotate in their entirety.
Within the housing part 2, two compensating masses 5 and 6 designed as segments are rotatably supported by means of three roller bearings 7, 8 and 9. The two outer rolling bearings 7 and 9 are used for the balancing mass 5, and the middle rolling bearing 8 is used to support the balancing mass 6. Each of the two segments 5 and 6 extends over an angle of 900, so that each segment is around 1800 relative to the other segment can be rotated in the single balancing plane. The device has an axis of rotation 10 which coincides with the axis of rotation of the body 1. The two balancing weights 5 and 6 have some radial play with respect to the inner wall of the housing part 2, so they are only supported on the roller bearings 7-9.
In the exemplary embodiment, rolling bearings designed as grooved ball bearings are shown to support the balancing masses 5 and 6. Instead of these roller bearings, needle bearings could also be used. If the body 1 to be balanced has only such a speed that the centrifugal forces on the balancing masses 5 and 6 are not so great, a sliding bearing of the balancing masses 5 and 6 could also be provided instead of the roller bearings 7-9. Each segment 5 or 6 (balancing mass) has a U-profile in longitudinal section, the base 11 or 12 of which is designed as an inner roller bearing seat for the two roller bearings 7 and 9 or for the roller bearing 8. Thus, segment 5 has the two roller bearing seats 13, 14, and segment 6 has the roller bearing seat 15.
The segment 5 is fastened on a toothed ring 17 having an internal toothing 16 by means of two screws 18 and 19. The ring gear 17 is located at one end of the segment 5. The other end of the segment 5 has a bearing shoulder 20 in which a ring gear 21 is rotatably mounted, which is fastened to the other segment 6 with screws 22 and 23. The segment 6 also has a bearing shoulder 24 for a sliding bearing of the ring gear 17. The two sprockets 17 and 21 and the two segments 5 and 6 are identical to each other except for their different roller bearing seats 13 to 15.
Two drive pinions 25 and 26, which mesh with the toothed ring 17 and 21, serve to move (turn) the two balancing weights 5 and 6 within the housing 2, 3. By means of these pinions 25 and 26, the two segments 5 and 6 are both moved towards one another and with respect to the body 1 to be balanced. If both segments 5 and 6 are rotated together in the same direction relative to the housing 2, 3, the center of gravity changes Device with respect to the center of gravity of the body 1. If the two segments 5 and 6 are moved symmetrically with respect to one another, the center of gravity of the device moves radially outwards. Static balancing of the body 1 is achieved in this way. The simple construction of the device can be seen particularly in FIG. 3, the components 5, 17 and 6, 21 being mutually superimposed.
Various devices can be provided for driving the two pinions 25 and 26. For example, there is a separate electric motor for each pinion. However, the pinions 25 and 26 could also be driven manually via one or two shift shafts, the shift shafts projecting outward from the device in a known manner and being provided with hand buttons which are grasped by hand and thus a relative speed between the rotating device and the braked switching shafts. Regardless of which drive type is selected, a friction clutch, not shown, is provided in the drive train for the pinions 25 and 26, which comes into operation when wide segments 5 and 6 come to rest against each other.
