Abstract

A helmet for high-speed skiers has instead of the one-piece design a rear profile to improve the aerodynamics which can break off in case of a fall. This profile is made of plastic material and is attached to the helmet by three plastic screws. ADVANTAGE - These screws break when the profile becomes entangled during a fall instead of breaking the skier's neck.

   BESCHREIBUNG



   Es handelt sich um einen speziellen Helm für Hochgeschwindigkeits-Skifahrer, mit separat angebrachtem Profil (Breakaway-Tail). Dieses Profil, oder Breakaway-Tail, ist so konstruiert und befestigt, dass es sich bei Bedarf vom vorderen Teil, dem eigentlichen Helm, loslöst und   weglliegt    (Breakaway-System).



   Der Bedarf ist dann gegeben, wenn ein Läufer stürzt und mit dem Kopf am Boden aufschlägt.

 

   Das Profil ist am Helm mit 3 Plastik-Schrauben und -Muttern befestigt, die bei einem Aufprall brechen.



   Das Loslösen dieses Profils soll einen besseren Schutz des Fahrers gewährleisten, namentlich der Nacken- und Rükkenpartie.



   Herkömmliche Helme verfügen über keine solche seperate Schutzvorrichtung.



   Es ist möglich, dieses Profil auch auf andere Arten zu befestigen, z. B. Kleben, Velcro-System, Laminieren usw. Die Plastik-Schrauben können die beste Lösung sein.



   Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in den Figuren dargestellt.



   Fig. 1 zeigt eine Seitenansicht und
Fig. 2 stellt eine Draufsicht des Helmes dar.



   Die Figuren stellen einen Helm 1 dar an dem ein Profil 2 zur Verbesserung der Aerodynamik angebaut ist. Dieses Profil 2 ist mit Hilfe von Plastikschrauben 3 und Muttern 4 am Helm 1 befestigt. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   It is a special helmet for high-speed skiers, with a separately attached profile (breakaway tail). This profile, or breakaway tail, is constructed and fastened in such a way that it can separate from the front part, the actual helmet, and lie away if necessary (breakaway system).



   The need arises when a runner falls and hits the ground with his head.

 

   The profile is attached to the helmet with 3 plastic screws and nuts that break in the event of an impact.



   Detaching this profile should ensure better protection for the driver, especially the neck and back areas.



   Conventional helmets do not have such a separate protective device.



   It is possible to attach this profile in other ways, e.g. B. gluing, Velcro system, laminating etc. The plastic screws can be the best solution.



   An embodiment of the invention is shown in the figures.



   Fig. 1 shows a side view and
Fig. 2 shows a top view of the helmet.



   The figures represent a helmet 1 on which a profile 2 is attached to improve the aerodynamics. This profile 2 is attached to the helmet 1 with the aid of plastic screws 3 and nuts 4.

PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Helni (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am hinteren Teil ein Profil (2) zur Verbesserung der Aerodynamik angebaut ist, das sich bei einem Sturz ablöst.  PATENT CLAIMS 1.
