BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a filling nipple made of plastic for filling building cracks, with a filler neck, one end of which is intended for attachment to the building and the free end of which is formed by an undercut for the connection to the gripping head of a filling device.
From FR-A-2 019 267 a filling nipple of the type mentioned is known for the injection of a liquid into wood, the free end of which includes a closing ball in order to form a check valve there. It is practically not possible to keep the filling opening free for use of the filling nipple as an overflow. So-called injection packers are also known on the market and are also used as an overflow by optionally screwing a nipple with an undercut and a check valve into the free end of the filler neck. This nipple with its closing ball is made of metal. These known filling nipples are attached to the structure by producing receiving bores that are spaced e.g. 100 mm along the crack to be filled.
The invention has for its object to find a filling nipple of the type mentioned, which is easier and more versatile to use with simple manufacture. This object is achieved on the basis of the characterizing features of patent claim 1.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention.
According to this illustration, the filler nipple 1 has a filler neck 2, the end 3 intended for fastening to the building merges into a plate-shaped fastening head 5 via a circumferential predetermined breaking groove 4. The end 6 of the filler neck 2 which remains free after attachment to the building has a spherical surface with a diameter of 6.5 mm and thus an undercut 7, so that it can be gripped by the gripping head of commercially available injection presses in order to obtain a fixed coupling.
The filling nipple 1 can be glued to the surface of the building by means of its fastening head 5 or, when applying mortar, can be fastened by the mortar for external sealing of the building crack to be filled, so that its filling channel 8 ends directly above the crack. Openings 11 provided in the fastening head 5, which expand away from the surface of the building and the conical head edge 9 cause the adhesive or mortar to penetrate and enclose the fastening head 5 in a form-fitting manner.
Optionally, however, the filling nipple can also be pressed into a receiving bore prepared in the building crack by previously breaking off the fastening head 5 along the predetermined breaking line 4. For this purpose, the outer surface of the filler neck is slightly conical so that it jams in the receiving bore. In order not to deform the end 6 designed for the coupling of the filling device when the filling nipple 1 is driven into the receiving bore, a setting tool can be fitted over this end 6, which is supported on the integrally formed shoulder 10 of the filler neck. However, a closure cap which snaps onto the end 6 can, with sufficient strength, prevent deformation upon impact.
A check valve 12 can preferably be formed in the filling nipple 1, which in one piece adjoins the inner wall of the filling channel 8 in the vicinity of the inflow opening and, in the starting position, rests with its free side on a shoulder 13 of the filling channel 8. When the material used for filling the cracks, for example synthetic resin, flows in, the non-return flap 12 bends in the release position. In order to be able to use this filling nipple 1 as an overflow in a simple manner when gradually filling a crack, before it serves as a filling nipple, this non-return valve 12 can be held in the open position by an inserted, not shown pin.
Such a pin, a sealing cap or a sealing pin, if no non-return flap is provided, can be easily formed in one piece on the side of the filling nipple 1, e.g. B. outside on the filler neck or, as is partially indicated by a web part 15, on the edge of the mounting head 5th
