Abstract

The centre (5) of the watch case (1) has a pivot axis (32) for one end of the strap (2) in a radial opening (22), and an anchorage axis (31) in another radial opening (21) at its other side. One end of the strap (2), which is of rigid but elastically deformable metal in the shape of an open elliptical ring, incorporates an opening through which the pivot axis passes. The entire strap can pivot about that side of the case. The other end of the strap carries a hook which slips over the anchorage axis (31) in a removable attachment to the other side. ADVANTAGE - Attachment is integrated with case of wrist-watch and is easily manipulated.

Claims

Device for attaching a rigid, elastically deformable bracelet (2) to a case (1), in particular a watch, comprising a hinge (32, 45) disposed between a first point of the case, located near its lateral face , and one end (44) of the strap so that the strap can pivot around the hinge perpendicular to the main plane of the case, and hooking means (31, 43) disposed between a second point of the case, located near its side face at a place diametrically opposite to the first point, and the other end (41) of the bracelet so that said other end can be fixed to the case at the location of said second point after the bracelet has undergone an elastic deformation approaching its ends, characterized in that the housing (1) comprises a first (22) and a second (21) radial openings made at the periphery of said housing and serving as respective accommodation for said hinge (32, 45) and said means for '' hanging (31, 43).

Fastening device according to claim 1, characterized in that said hinge comprises a pivot axis (32) disposed at the location of said first point parallel to the main plane of the housing, the central part of the axis being released by said first radial opening (22), and an orifice (45) formed in one end (44) of the bracelet (2), this end being arranged so that the axis passes through the orifice.

Fastening device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that said attachment means comprise an anchoring pin (31) disposed at the location of said second point parallel to the main plane of the housing, the central part of the anchoring axis being released by said second radial opening (21), and a hook (43) formed in the other end (41) of the bracelet (2), this other end being disposed in said second opening so that the hook comes into engagement with the anchor pin and against which the hook is held in abutment by a force resulting from said elastic deformation of the bracelet.

Fastening device according to claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the housing comprises an annular peripheral groove (20), located on the side of the bottom of the housing and passing through said first and second openings and a split annular spring (30) disposed in said groove, the parts of the spring being in the first and second openings respectively constituting the pivot axis; (32) and the anchoring axis (31).

Fastening device according to claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the housing has an annular peripheral groove - (20 '), located on the opposite side of the bottom of the housing and passing through said first and second openings, and an annular spring split (30) disposed in said groove, the parts of the spring being in the first and second openings respectively constituting the pivot axis (32) and the anchoring axis (31).
