BESCHREIBUNG
Die Erfindung betrifft ein orthopädisches Formkissen mit einem Schaumstoffkern und einem Überzug.
Derartige Fornikissen sind als Kopfkissen aus der CH PS 488 436 bekannt. Der Schaumstofikern ist dabei aus mehreren Lagen gebildet, wobei Körperaufnahmepartien eingeformt sind, deren Festigkeitsgrad kleiner ist als der der angrenzenden Bereiche des Fonnkissens. Als Überzug ist ein normaler Stoffüberzug verwendet, der an den Schmalseiten mit Laschen und Druckknöpfen verschliessbar ist.
Dieses bekannte Kissen hat den Nachteil, dass der Stoff überzug bei der Benützung zur Faltenbildung neigt und gerne auf dem Schaumstofikern verrutscht. Ausserdem erfordert der Stoffüberzug einen komplizierten Zuschnitt und das Annähen der Druckknöpfe erhöht zudem die Herstellungskosten.
Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein orthopädisches Formkissen der eingangs erwähnten Art zu schaffen, das einfach herstellbar ist, nicht zur Faltenbildung neigt und auf dem Schaumstoffkern sehr gut haftet.
Diese Aufgabe wird nach der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, dass in Richtung der längsten Abmessung des Schaumstoffkernes ein schlauchartiger Überzug mit einem Belag aus Schurwolle aufgezogen ist. Der schlauchartige Überzug legt sich fest an den Schaumstoffkern an und der aufgebrachte Belag aus Schurwolle gibt zudem eine sehr weiche, angenehme Auflage für die Körperpartien. Da der schlauchartige Überzug daher den kleinsten Querschnitt einschliesst, ist dieser auch leicht auf den Schaumstoffkern aufzuziehen.
Der Halt des Überzuges auf dem Schaumstoffkern wird nach einer Ausgestaltung dadurch noch verbessert, dass der Überzug aus einem elastischen Gewebe besteht, das sich an die Aussparungen der Oberseite des Schaumstoffkernes anpasst.
Die Herstellung des Überzuges erfolgt in einfachster Weise dadurch, dass der schlauchartige Überzug aus einem etwa rechteckförmigen Gewebezuschnitt mit aufgebrachtem Belag aus Schurwolle zusammengenäht ist, wobei für eine eindeutige Verbinddungsnaht vorgesehen wird, dass die gegenüberliegenden Kanten des Gewebezuschnittes zur Innenseite des Überzuges eingeschlagen und miteinander vernäht sind.
Der Belag aus Schurwolle erhält nach einer Ausgestaltung dadurch einen ausgezeichneten Halt auf dem Gewebe, dass der Belag aus Schurwolle mit elastischem Gewebe verwoben ist.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 in perspektivischer Ansicht einen länglichen Schaumstoffkern für ein orthopädisches Kopfkissen und
Fig. 2 den erfindungsgemässen Überzug aus einem Gewebe mit aufgebrachtem Belag aus Schurwolle, der auf den Schaumstoffkern nach Fig. 1 aufgezogen ist.
Der quaderförmige Schaumstoffkern 10 hat eine etwas höhere Vorderseitenwand 12, so dass die Oberseite mit der ausgeformten Kopfaufnahme 11 zur Rückseitenwand 13 hin abfällt. Die Schmalseitenwände bleiben eben, wie mit der Schmalseitenwand 14 gezeigt ist.
Aus einem rechteckförmigen Zuschnitt eines elastischen Gewebes wird der schlauchartige Überzug 20 zusammengenäht. Auf dem elastischen Gewebe ist aussen der Belag aus Schurwolle 21 aufgebracht. Die ausreichende Haftung der Schurwolle ist dabei durch Verweben mit dem elastischen Gewebe erreicht. Da der schlauchartige Überzug 20 elastisch ist, legt er sich eng an die Form des Schaumstoffkernes 10 an und bildet die Aufnahme 22 nach, die der Körperaufnahme 11 des Schaumstoffkernes 10 entspricht. Die Schmalseitenwände des Schaumstoffkernes 10 werden nicht von dem Überzug 20 bedeckt, der in Längsrichtung auf den Schaumstoffkern 10 aufgezogen ist und diesen fest und unverrutschbar umschliesst. Die mit Schurwolle 21 bedeckte Aussenseite des Überzuges 20 bringt eine weiche, angenehme Auflage für den Kopf, wenn dieser in die Aufnahme 22 eingelegt wird.
Die Erfindung lässt sich auch ohne weiteres auf anders geformte und für andere Körperpartien verwendete Formkissen anwenden.
Es sind nur entsprechende Gewebezuschnitte zu einem schlauchartigen Überzug zusammenzunähen und der Überzug auf das Formkissen aufzuziehen.
Der Überzug bleibt dennoch leicht von dem Schaum stoffkern lösbar und kann unabhängig von diesem gereinigt oder gewaschen werden. Nach dem Trocknen kann der schlauchartige Überzug wieder auf den Schaumstoffkern aufgezogen werden.
Der Schaumstoffkern 10 kann aus Polyäther mit einem Raumgewicht von etwa 25 kg/m3 und einer Härte von etwa 27 kPa bestehen. Dieses Raumgewicht und diese Härte ist wichtig für den Liegekomfort und die Haltbarkeit. Bekanntlich ergibt höhere Raumgewicht und höhere Härte längere Haltbarkeit, jedoch geringeren Liegekomfort und möglicherweise Unverträglichkeit für solche Menschen, die im Nakkenbereich besonders empfindlich sind. Die gewählten Schaumstoffeigenschaften bringen bei guter Haltbarkeit hohen Liegekomfort.
Eine Verschmutzung des Überzuges 20 aus Schurwolle lässt sich vermeiden, wenn darauf ein abnehmbarer Kissenbezug aufgebracht ist.

The invention relates to an orthopedic shaped pillow with a foam core and a cover.
Such fornic pillows are known as pillows from CH PS 488 436. The foam core is formed from several layers, with body receiving parts molded in, the degree of strength of which is lower than that of the adjacent areas of the pillow. A normal fabric cover is used as the cover, which can be closed on the narrow sides with tabs and snap fasteners.
This known pillow has the disadvantage that the fabric covering tends to wrinkle when used and tends to slip on the foam core. In addition, the fabric cover requires a complicated cut and sewing the push buttons also increases the manufacturing costs.
It is an object of the invention to provide an orthopedic shaped pillow of the type mentioned at the outset which is simple to produce, does not tend to form wrinkles and adheres very well to the foam core.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a tube-like covering with a covering of new wool is put on in the direction of the longest dimension of the foam core. The tube-like cover attaches firmly to the foam core and the applied new wool covering also gives a very soft, pleasant support for the body parts. Since the tube-like cover therefore includes the smallest cross-section, this is also easy to pull onto the foam core.
The hold of the cover on the foam core is further improved in one embodiment in that the cover consists of an elastic fabric that adapts to the recesses on the top of the foam core.
The cover is produced in the simplest way by sewing the tubular cover together from an approximately rectangular fabric blank with an applied covering of new wool, whereby for a clear connection seam it is provided that the opposite edges of the fabric blank are folded in and sewn together on the inside of the cover .
According to one embodiment, the covering made of new wool is given an excellent hold on the fabric by the fact that the covering made of new wool is interwoven with elastic fabric.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. It shows:

The cuboid foam core 10 has a somewhat higher front wall 12, so that the upper side with the shaped head receptacle 11 drops towards the rear wall 13. The narrow side walls remain flat, as shown with the narrow side wall 14.
The tubular cover 20 is sewn together from a rectangular cut of an elastic fabric. The covering of new wool 21 is applied to the outside of the elastic fabric. Adequate adhesion of the new wool is achieved by weaving with the elastic fabric. Since the hose-like cover 20 is elastic, it fits closely to the shape of the foam core 10 and reproduces the receptacle 22, which corresponds to the body receptacle 11 of the foam core 10. The narrow side walls of the foam core 10 are not covered by the coating 20, which is drawn onto the foam core 10 in the longitudinal direction and surrounds it firmly and non-slip. The outside of the cover 20 covered with virgin wool 21 provides a soft, comfortable support for the head when it is inserted into the receptacle 22.
The invention can also easily be applied to shaped pillows of different shape and used for other parts of the body.
Only appropriate fabric blanks are to be sewn together to form a tube-like cover and the cover is to be pulled onto the shaped cushion.
The cover remains easily removable from the foam core and can be cleaned or washed independently. After drying, the tube-like coating can be pulled back onto the foam core.
The foam core 10 can consist of polyether with a density of about 25 kg / m3 and a hardness of about 27 kPa. This density and hardness is important for comfort and durability. As is well known, higher density and higher hardness result in longer durability, but less comfort and possibly intolerance for people who are particularly sensitive in the nape area. The selected foam properties bring high lying comfort with good durability.
Contamination of the new wool cover 20 can be avoided if a removable pillowcase is applied to it.
