BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a cylinder lock with associated flat keys, the cylinder lock having a cylinder housing and at least one cylinder core rotatably mounted therein and spring-loaded radial tumbler pins in the key channel of the core and in the housing, which can be displaced into their release position by a toothing of the associated flat key. Various measures are known for cylinder locks to increase security against the use of force as well as against sensitive scanning. An attempt is made to prevent the introduction of scanning tools and the manipulation with such tools by means of special profile shapes of the key channel. Whatever a key channel is shaped, a gap remains, even if it is preserved in an angled form.
The invention aims to create a security device in the key channel, which makes scanning difficult. Completely independent of cylinder locks with tumbler pins in the cylinder core and in the housing and independently of the aforementioned task, roller-like or gear-like code memories are known which are biased by means of a spiral spring in the direction of a zero position or starting position given by a stop. A code plate acting as a key is pushed over the code memory. The code memory is rotated. The end position of the code memory when the key is fully inserted corresponds to the release of the lock. In this position, a cylinder core is rotatable according to US-PS 834918 and DE-OS 1 553454.
By rotating the code memory in DE-PS 117 783, a worm shaft is rotated, which pulls a bolt back or pushes it forward.
The increase in the scanning security of a cylinder lock with tumbler pins of the type described above is achieved in that a turnstile known per se is freely rotatably mounted in the cylinder core over the area of engagement of the tumbler pins, the arms of which engage in rotation in succession in the key channel and thereby essentially over the extend the entire width of the key channel. The arm of the turnstile protruding into the key channel can be turned somewhat out of the key channel by means of a flake-shaped scanning tool; however, the arm subsequently entering the key channel as a result of the rotation grips the scanning sheet laterally and presses it against the wall of the key channel, the first-mentioned arm blocking at the same time and preventing the scanning sheet from advancing.
At most, a hook could be pushed completely into the key channel. However, it can only be moved towards the attack areas of the tumbler pins until it abuts the turnstile or arms from above. Moving the tumbler pins is prevented as well as when using a leaflet. When trying to drill out with the well-known brittle special drills, the tip of the drill moves the turnstile and the next arm engages laterally in the passages of the drill. This leads to the drill blocking or breaking. A special embodiment of the invention provides that the diameter of the turnstile corresponds at least to the radius of the cylinder and that a recess is provided in the cylinder housing for the end regions of the arms.
A predetermined end position of the turnstile is then required so that the arms blocking the rotation of the cylinder core in the housing lie exclusively within the outline of the cylinder core. The location is determined by the correctly coded key. The key is characterized in that, between the back of the key and the teeth of the key bit on the flat side from the key tip, there are openings known per se through the entire width of the key at substantially the same intervals. These breakthroughs allow the turnstile to intervene when the key is inserted into the key channel, so that the turnstile is not effective in relation to the appropriate key. The right key must be kinematically matched to the turnstile.
Under a turnstile is a multi-armed, e.g. to understand four- or five-armed rotatable body, which is constructed similar to a gear. At least one tooth or arm lies in the key channel and completely fills it in width. A plurality of turnstiles can also be provided on one axis or staggered one behind the other in the cylinder core. The turnstiles can be in engagement with each other. The arrangement can also be made such that a turnstile is to the left and one to the right of the key channel and the arms interlock or
lie congruently one above the other in the key channel.
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a cross section through a cylinder lock, Fig. 2 shows a partial longitudinal section along the line II-II in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 shows a key in side view and Fig. 4 shows a cross section of a part of a cylinder core.
A cylinder core 2 is rotatably arranged in a lock housing. The rotation is prevented by spring-loaded core and housing pins 3, which partially protrude into a key channel 4 of the cylinder core 2. By moving said pins 3 by means of a suitable key 5 inserted into the key channel 4, the release position of the pins 3 is reached, so that the core 2 can be rotated and a lock bolt can be actuated. In the figures, the key channel is shown as a gap with a rectangular cross section in order to simplify the drawing.
In the cylinder core 2, a horizontal chamber 6 is milled out, in which a turnstile 7 is freely rotatable about a vertical axis. The turnstile 7 has four radially oriented arms 8, one of which projects into the key channel 4. The turnstile 7 is slightly higher than the contact surfaces of the core pins 3. If the key 5 (FIG. 2) is inserted into the key channel 4, its tip pushes against the arm 8 and rotates the turnstile 7 counterclockwise. As a result, the arm 9 is screwed into the key channel 4. This is only possible if the key has corresponding recesses 10 through which the arms (8, 9) can reach.
The number and length of the arms or their angular position with respect to the key channel 4 must be such that at least one arm always projects at least partially into the key channel in every rotational position. In the example according to FIG. 2, the arm 8 can only be turned out of the key channel by means of the key 5 if arm 9 is possible to dip into the key channel 4. If the key 5 had no openings 10, then a further insertion of the key 5 would not be possible. The arm 8 partially remains in the key channel 4 and blocks it. If a leaflet, as is usually used for scanning the lock code, is inserted into the key channel, then it cannot overcome the turnstile either.
If you insert the leaflet or a wire hook above the turnstile into the upper part of the key channel, nothing is gained because neither the leaflet nor the hook can be moved freely against the core pins, they hit the turnstile 7 from above.
Fig. 1 shows another turnstile in the right half of the cylinder core 2 with dashed lines. It lies directly above the contact surface of the core pins 3. The two turnstiles according to FIG. 1 can also mesh with one another in a gear-like manner and be arranged in the same plane or somewhat offset from one another. The shape of a turnstile 7 can also correspond to that of a gear wheel (for example a chain sprocket). 2 shows a star-shaped turnstile 7 'in the chamber 6'. More than four arms can also be provided. In Fig. 1, the chamber 6 is extended into the housing 1 (pocket 11). If a turnstile with a somewhat larger diameter is used, then there are four rotational positions in which none of the arms engages in this pocket 11. The core can only be rotated relative to the housing in these rotational positions.
By coordinating the position of the turnstile with the position and length of the openings 10 of the key, it can be ensured that, with the key 5 fully inserted in the key channel 4, the arms of the turnstile lie completely within the cylinder core shell and therefore allow rotation.
FIG. 4 shows a variant in which the arms of the turnstile 7 'overlap the key channel 4' and engage in a slot 12 on the opposite channel wall. In this variant, a further detail is shown, which can also be used in any other embodiment of the turnstile, and is therefore not limited to the turnstile according to FIG. 4. In the wall opposite the key insertion direction, a particularly hook-shaped recess 13 is provided, which is positioned approximately diametrically to the intersection of the turnstile circle with the key channel axis with respect to the turnstile axis.
If a key 5 is inserted into the key channel 4, which has no openings 10 or is not in the correct position and size (shape), then the arm 8 'together with the arm 9', which lies against the wrong key laterally, prevents one further insertion of the wrong key. The axis of rotation 14 is designed as a predetermined breaking point. The turnstile is used when using force (e.g.
by knocking on the key) after the axis 14 has broken away into the chamber 6 ", the arm 15 pushes against the wall of the chamber and slides into the recess 13. The rotationally fixed position of the turnstile is finally fixed and access to the key channel All embodiments of the invention serve to effectively improve the scanning protection in cylinder locks with tumblers.
