Abstract

The clock has a base (11) housing the timepiece mechanism and fitted with a vertical sleeve (17) carrying an hours scale (20) around its outer periphery which rotates relative to a display window (22) or a stationary marker for indicating the hour. The minutes are indicated via a standing figure (25) supported by a platform (24) rotated by the minutes shaft so that the figure points to a minutes display scale (28) carried by the mantle surface of a transparent dome (26) fitted over the base (11). Alternatively the dome (26) is rotated relative to the base (11) so that the minutes scale (28) moves past the pointing figure. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be for mechanical, electrical or electronic clock. Provides decorative time display.
