Abstract

The boat has two parallel guide rails extending longitudinally along each side. A carriage mounted on rollers can be moved forwards and backwards along these rails. Each carriage carries a board mounted on a horizontal shaft projecting outwards at right angles to the rail. When the carriage is pushed in the forward direction, the board swings to a horizontal position and slides over the surface of the water. When the carriage is pushed in the rearward direction it is swung to a vertical position by the pressure of the water and propels the boat forwards. USE - A system of propelling and steeing a small boat.

   BESCHREIBUNG

   DESCRIPTION

It is desirable that with such a device the forward movement of a floating body takes place in the viewing direction.

Rudder effect in the direction of view is only possible with a standing rudder or paddle.

Both types cause boats and swim boards to have undesirable roll and capsize movements.

The rowing machine, for example connected to a swimming board, should enable safe and movement-oriented water sports for everyone.

In contrast to windsurfers, a rowing board can also be used by weaker people and without a learning process.

According to the invention, this is solved by the sum of the features.

For example, guide rails can be mounted on both sides of the floating body, on each of which an independent guide carriage can be moved forwards and backwards.

Movable, removable rudder plates are attached to this sled, which can be lowered into the water in an adjustable manner and, provided with small floats, are unsinkable.

In the following, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

   Show it:
Figure 1, the rowing machine from the side in the pull position, that is, by pulling the device against the body, the rudder plate is perpendicular to the stop.

This will cause the back pressure of the water to move the float forward.

When the sled pushes forward, the rudder plate lies horizontally on the water and releases the water resistance for sliding forward.

Figure 2 shows the rudder plate with the floats attached to the roller carriage.

Figure 3 shows the side view of the entire device, mounted on a floating body.

Figure 4 shows the top view of the entire device, mounted on a floating body.

Figure 5 shows the rudder plate from the side.

Figure 6 shows the rudder plate from above.
