Abstract
A row of thread tensioning rollers (2) is mounted rotatably on a guide pipe (1). In the interior of the pipe (1) is disposed a flexible tube (4) which is closed at one end and whose other end can be connected to a compressed air source. The pipe (1) has apertures whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of a ball (3) resting in the respective aperture. The balls (3) can be pressed by means of the flexible tube (4) into the apertures. In the interior side of the roller hub, a groove (2a) is formed in which that part of the ball (3) projecting from the aperture is disposed. With this thread tensioner, the tensioning force can be set very finely, it being possible to alter it periodically even during operation. <IMAGE>

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Fadenbremse für Stickmaschine und Steppmaschine mit rotierenden Fadenbremsrollen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die rotierenden Fadenbremsrollen in Wirkungsverbin dung stehen mit den im Führungsrohr befindlichen Druck übertragungselementen, welche ihrerseits durch einen sich im
Führungsrohr befindlichen Schlauch vorhandenen, verän derbaren Überdruck die zur Fadenbremsung erforderliche Kraft übertragen.
2. Fadenbremse nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die gleitenden Fadenbremselemente in Wirkungsverbindung stehen mit dem in einem Stützprofil befindlichen elastischen Schlauch, so dass der im Schlauch vorhandene, veränderbare Überdruck die zur Fadenbremsung erforderliche Kraft auf die Fadenbremselemente überträgt.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fadenbremse für Stickmaschine und Steppmaschine mit z.B. zentraler pneumatischer und/oder hydraulischer Bremskraftregelung.
Es sind bereits Vorrichtungen bekannt, bei welchen die Fadenspannung durch Federn, Gewichte, Stoffreibung oder durch Fadenzuführapparate bei mehreren gleichzeitig verwendeten Fäden gleich gross gehalten wird.
Nachdem in verschiedenen Stickmaschinen bis zu 1000 und mehr Fäden gleichzeitig verarbeitet werden, wird die Qualität des Produktes sowie der störungsfreie Arbeitsablauf auch von der gleichmässigen Fadenspannung bestimmt.
Die bekannten Vorrichtungen sind entweder sehr aufwendig oder erreichen nicht die erforderliche Gleichmässigkeit.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Fadenbremse so zu gestalten, dass die Bremskraft geregelt und durch eine zentrale Steuerung bei jedem einzelnen Faden identisch gehalten werden kann.
Erfindungsgemäss wird dies dadurch erreicht, dass die rotierenden Fadenbremsrollen in Wirkungsverbindung stehen mit den im Führungsrohr befindlichen Druckübertragungselementen, welche ihrerseits durch einen sich im Führungsrohr befindlichen Schlauch vorhandenen, veränderbaren Überdruck die zur Fadenbremsung erforderliche Kraft übertragen.
Im folgenden wird anhand der beiliegenden Zeichnungen ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt.

Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Fadenbremse besteht aus einem Führungsrohr 1, auf welchem eine Reihe von Fa denbremsrollen 2 aufgeführt sind, die Fadenbremsrolle ist mit einer Rille 2a versehen in der die Kugel 3 gleitet, welche ihrerseits durch den elastischen Schlauch 1 mittels einem Druckübertragungsmedium, z.B. Pressluft oder Wasser, in die Rille 2a gepresst wird.
Durch die Veränderung des Anpressdruckes entsteht eine veränderbare Reibungskraft, die auf den in der vorhandenen keilförmigen Vertiefung 2b eingelegten und dort selbsthemmend geführten Faden 5 übertragen wird.
Nachdem die Druckverhältnisse im System absolut gleich sind, ist die Bremskraft ebenfalls überall gleich.
Durch Vorschaltung eines Druckreglers kann die Bremskraft von Hand und/oder automatisch gesteuert werden.
Es ist sogar möglich, die Bremskraft synchron zur Nadelbewegung zu steuern, das heisst weniger zu bremsen bei Fadenzufuhr und mehr zu bremsen bei Fadenanzug.

Devices are already known in which the thread tension is kept the same by springs, weights, material friction or by thread feeders with several threads used simultaneously.
After up to 1000 and more threads are processed simultaneously in different embroidery machines, the quality of the product and the trouble-free workflow are also determined by the even thread tension.
The known devices are either very complex or do not achieve the required uniformity.
The object of the invention is to design the thread brake in such a way that the braking force can be regulated and can be kept identical for each individual thread by a central control.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the rotating thread brake rollers are operatively connected to the pressure transmission elements located in the guide tube, which in turn transmit the force required for thread braking through a variable pressure present in the guide tube.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The thread brake shown in the drawing consists of a guide tube 1, on which a series of thread brake rollers 2 are listed, the thread brake roller is provided with a groove 2a in which the ball 3 slides, which in turn passes through the elastic hose 1 by means of a pressure transmission medium, e.g. Compressed air or water into which groove 2a is pressed.
The change in the contact pressure creates a variable friction force which is transmitted to the thread 5 inserted in the existing wedge-shaped recess 2b and guided there in a self-locking manner.
Since the pressure conditions in the system are absolutely the same, the braking force is also the same everywhere.
The braking force can be controlled manually and / or automatically by connecting a pressure regulator.
It is even possible to control the braking force in synchronism with the needle movement, which means less braking when the thread is fed and more braking when the thread is tightened.
