The invention relates to a device for adjusting the position of a screen device, which is set up on a support surface of the device, which in turn is supported on a support surface.
In workplaces with a display device, it is known that if the display device is not arranged in the position suitable for the operator, the operator must exert himself more and therefore tire more quickly, as a result of which an increased frequency of errors must be expected. This finding has led to the greatest attention being paid to the optimal design of a workstation with a display device. On the one hand, the work chair is designed according to the ergonomic requirements, and on the other hand, the position of the monitor is set for the respective operator.
Devices that enable the setting of the screen device are known in various designs.
In a known embodiment, a swivel arm is pivotally mounted on a base plate or on a work table. On the swivel arm, usually supported on a bearing plate, the display device is also pivotably arranged. The disadvantage of this embodiment is that when the swivel arm is pivoted, the distance between the monitor and the operator's head changes, which means that the position of the base plate or the work table must also be changed. In a further known embodiment, the display device is mounted on a tripod that is adjustable in height. A support plate for the display device is placed on the tripod, which can be tilted about a horizontal axis and rotated about a vertical axis. Together with the tripod, the settings for lifting, lowering, tilting and turning can be realized.
The disadvantage, however, is the complex and, as in the case of the first-mentioned embodiment, the light construction which limits the permissible weight of the display device.
In a further known embodiment (DE-PS 3 039 655), a stand provided with a bearing plate is provided for the storage of a screen device, which has height-adjustable legs which are adjustable via a gear transmission. Apart from the fact that only lifting and lowering of the monitor is possible with this version, the construction is also very complex, although only a light construction is used.
This is where the invention comes in, which is based on the object of designing a device of the type described in the introduction in such a way that all movements, i.e. the rotation, lifting, lowering and tilting of the bearing plate for the display device can be carried out on the device itself, whereby a height-adjustable table is not required.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the support surface is formed as part of a frame and is rotatable, height-adjustable and pivotable with respect to the support surface.
The invention is shown in the drawing in one embodiment and described below. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a side view of a device for adjusting the position of a monitor and
FIG. 2 is a side view from the direction of arrow II in FIG. 1.
The device described in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a base plate 1, which forms a support surface supported on a support 2. The base 2 can be any work table or a table specially equipped for working on the screen. The base plate 1, which for example forms a circular surface, has a short, circular cylindrical guide pin 3 in its center (FIG. 2), which serves as a bearing pin for a turntable 4 lying on the base plate 1. The turntable 4 is a circular flat plate which has a centrally located bore through which the guide pin 3 protrudes.
The turntable 4 forms the foundation of a frame 5. On the top of the turntable 4, two angle profiles 6, 7 lying parallel to one another are fastened, in each of which a lifting mechanism designed as a scissor lifting mechanism 8, 9 is mounted. Each of the scissor hoists 8, 9 has two intersecting scissor arms 11, 12 which are pivotally connected to one another by a joint 10. The joints 10 are through a
Guide rod 13 connected to each other (Fig. 2). In the perpendicular web 14 of the angle profiles 6, 7, the lower ends of the scissor arms 11, 12 are pivotally mounted by means of rotary joints 15. The swivel joint 15 at the lower end of the scissor arm 12 is a stationary swivel joint, while the swivel joint 15 at the lower end of the scissor arm 11 is a swivel joint which can be displaced in a guide slot 16. For stability reasons, the scissor arms 11, 12 are expediently connected to one another by guide webs 17.
The upper ends of the scissor arms 11, 12 are connected by means of swivel joints 18 to perpendicular webs 19 which form the edge parts of a platform 20. The swivel joint 18 at the upper end of the scissor arm 11 is a stationary swivel joint, while the swivel joint 18 at the upper end of the scissor arm 12 is a swivel joint which can be displaced in a guide slot 21.
So that the platform 20 is adjustable in height, the scissor arms 11, 12 are pivoted about the pivot joints 10 and the guide rod 13. This pivoting movement takes place by displacing the displaceable upper pivot joints 18 in the guide slots 21, as a result of which the lower displaceable pivot joints 15 are also displaced in the guide slots 16. In Fig. 1, the sliding pivots 15, 18 are located at one end of the guide slots 16, 21, i.e. platform 20 is in its highest position. If the displaceable swivel joints 15, 18 are at the opposite end of the guide slots 16, 21, the platform assumes its lowest position, see the broken line in FIG. 1.
The sliding movement of the displaceable rotary joints 15, 18 is carried out by two spindle drives, the axes 22, 23 of which extend next to the upper ends of the scissor arms 11, 12.
The spindle drive with the axis 23 is provided with a rotary knob 24 with which the height adjustment of the platform 20 is carried out. The spindle drives with the axes 22, 23 each have a spindle nut (not shown), which are connected to the upper, displaceable rotary joints 18. So that the two spindle drives move the scissor arms 11, 12 synchronously, they must be coupled by a gear (not shown), for. B. by a slip-free envelope drive such as a toothed belt or ball string drive.
The frame 5 with the two scissor hoists 8, 9, together with the platform 20, represents a simple but extremely stable structure which can be loaded with relatively large loads.
On the platform 20 is a bearing plate 25 around
Pivot axis 26 is pivotally mounted, on which a screen device 27 can be placed. The bearing plate 25 with its pivot axis 26 is mounted on the platform 20. To
Adjustment of the inclination of the bearing plate 25 is used by a single scissor lifting mechanism 28 with two scissor arms 29, 30. The structure of the scissor lifting mechanism 28 is the same as that of the two scissor lifting mechanisms 8, 9 arranged between the turntable 4 and the platform 20. The scissor arms 29, 30 of the scissor lifting mechanism 28 are supported on their upper and lower ends by means of rotary joints 31, 32 on shafts 33, 34. Here, the upper swivel 31 of the scissor arm 30 and the lower swivel 32 of the scissor arm 29 are stationary and the upper swivel 31 of the scissor arm 29 and the 'lower swivel 32 of the scissor arm 30 are slidably mounted.
The upper swivel joint 31 of the scissor arm 29 is also connected to a spindle nut, the shaft 33 being a spindle shaft which can be actuated by a rotary knob 35. The shafts 33, 34 are mounted in holders 36, 37, of which the holder 36 is fastened to the underside of the bearing plate 25 and the holder 37 to the platform 20.
On the underside of the bearing plate 25, a frame 38 is attached, on which a bellows 39 is attached. The bellows 39 is tubular and completely surrounds the frame 5. A frame 40 similar to the frame 38 is fastened on the turntable 4 and serves to fasten the lower edge of the bellows 39.
With the device described, it is possible to optimally set a screen device for the operator. Because the hoists 8, 9 and 28 are accommodated in the frame 5, a space-saving device is obtained. Nevertheless, the bearing plate 25 is rotatable, lowerable and tiltable. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that the inclination of the bearing plate 25 is possible on both sides of the horizontal position.
The use of scissor hoists is a reliable and solid solution. However, other hoists could also be used without the basic structure of the device being changed.
