9. Use of the packaging tube according to one of claims 1 to 7 for packaging a single homogeneous product.
The invention relates to a packaging tube, in particular for aromatic, flowable products.
Tube bodies of tubes made of thermoplastic material, in which flowable products containing flavoring substances are placed on the market, have a gas-impermeable barrier layer, which u. a. serves to prevent the loss of aroma. It is known to also arrange a locking insert in the tube head. In another known packaging tube, in addition to a barrier layer in the shoulder area, the tube head has in its neck part a retention space which is concentric with the removal channel and in which the part of the flowable product which is closest to the neck part wall and is therefore the most dearomatized is retained until the end and is thrown away with the tube .
Both known solutions for reducing the delivery of a product depleted of flavorings from the tube head to the consumer are unsatisfactory from an economic point of view. The barrier insert is expensive and it requires additional work steps to insert it. The consumer does not accept the retention of part of the tube content, who reckons with the entire tube content when buying the tube.
However, the fraction of the tube content contained in the tube head must not reach the consumer without being aromatized, since it is pressed out of the tube when it is first removed and can thus give the first lasting impression of an inferior product type.
The object of the present invention is to provide an economically producible packaging tube which allows the removal of the whole, in particular flavored tube contents, in accordance with the expectations of the consumer.
The object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
The mixing device in the packaging tube according to the invention inevitably presses a combined strand of, for example, partially dearomatized and fully aromatic product out of the packaging tube during removal. It is therefore irrelevant whether the tube is formed with the usual barrier layer in the head part.
Since the combined strand constantly ensures a product that is satisfactory for the consumer, the entire tube content can be used for its intended purpose and inferior product does not have to be retained. The combined strand gives the organoleptic impression of a completely mixed, for example aromatic product, which is not subject to any loss in quality even after prolonged storage. By combining the two products, a mixing effect is therefore achieved even in those cases in which the resulting combined strand is not a homogeneous mixture. In other words, the effect of the mixing device arranged in the tube for removing a combined strand of the product, in particular from two areas of the packaging tube, corresponds to that of a conventional mixer for the product from these two areas of the packaging tube.
Since the packaging tube generally has a single filling space and thus its two areas are designed to communicate with one another. d. H. Merge into one another without separation, the product removed from the area adjacent to the tube head space is continuously replaced by, for example, more aromatic product from the tube body space, so that the difference in quality between the two product parts cannot increase further during consumption.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mixing device and the tube head consist of a thermoplastic material, both being integrally formed with one another, which allows their production in a single operation.
The mixing device can be designed as a channel opening into the exit opening of the packaging tube with an end-side main access and radial secondary accesses. The location of the main access defines the first or second area in the filling space of the packaging tube. The second area closer to the tube head generally occupies 3 to 15%, preferably 5 to 10%, of the filling space. For example, aromatic product enters the sewer through the main entrance. Due to the radial secondary entrances, which are located in the second, i.e. H. the tube head adjacent area, the z.
B. from fully aromatic product strand combined with in particular partially dearomatized product from this second area in such a way that at the exit opening of the packaging tube, a combined strand results in organoleptic properties which are pleasant for the consumer. The ratio of the two product parts is determined by the cross section of the main access and the cross sections and arrangement of the secondary access.
The sum of the cross sections of the secondary accesses is generally 5 to 30%, preferably 10 to 20%, of the cross section of the main access. The channel, or the secondary entrances, can be designed and arranged in such a way that, for example, that partially ent in the combined strand
Flavored product, from the area closer to the tube head, for example the fully aromatic product from the area removed from the tube head, practically completely, partially or as little as possible, B. the locally different sensitivities of the tongue for different flavors can be taken into account.
In order to obtain a covering layer of the product part from the second area on a core from the other product part from the first area of the packaging tube, the channel at the main entrance, for example, can be narrow and be extended to the secondary entrances. The pressure difference caused by the cross-sectional difference then allows the product fed from the secondary entrances to spread over the entire circumference of the product fed through the main gateway.
The invention is illustrated by the figure.
The figure shows purely schematically a longitudinal section through the head-side part of a packaging tube according to the invention.
The packaging tube 1 has a tube body 2 and a tube head 3 made of a thermoplastic material.
which together form the filling space. on. The inside of the tube body 2 is provided with a barrier layer 4. A channel 6, with a frontal main access 7 and radia len, arranged in the vicinity of the exit opening 5 side entrances, opens into the exit opening 5 of the packaging tube.
When a flowable product is removed from the packaging tube 1, a first product part flows from the tube body 2 through the main access 7 into the channel 6. This primary line is supplemented by a second product part from the secondary accesses 8, 9 and 10. like that. that a strand combined from both product parts leaves the outlet opening 5.
This tube enables the simultaneous, combined delivery of product from two different areas of your filling space. It can be used advantageously for products that change locally during storage in the filling room. Such products can be toothpaste, cosmetics, food, and other aromatic or flavored products.
