Abstract
The filter element for a cartridge filter consists of a bundle of perforated supporting tubes (1) which are arranged around a central tube of the same diameter serving for the filtrate outflow. The supporting tubes (1) are provided with longitudinal fins (2) to improve the filtrate outflow. As a result, one supporting cloth can be omitted in each case. <IMAGE>

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch das Rohrbündel

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Filter element for installation in a pressure filter, the support body of which consists of a bundle of six perforated tubes which are arranged around a central tube and over which a filter medium is stretched, characterized in that the perforated support tubes (1) are provided with longitudinal ribs (2) are.
2. Filter element according to claim 1, characterized in that the longitudinal ribs (2) have the same distance from each other.
The invention relates to a filter element, in particular a candle filter element, which is inserted into a pressure vessel.
A filter element of this type is known from EP-A-0 066 921. It consists of a bundle of perforated support tubes which are arranged around a central tube of the same diameter which is closed on the sides. The spaces between the central tube and the interior of the perforated support tubes serve as drainage channels for the filtrate.
A disadvantage of these filter elements is that when the filter fabric is placed directly on top, the outflow quantity is greatly reduced and additional support fabrics are often required.
The object of the invention is to provide a filter element which is simple, stable, easy to clean in its construction and drains large amounts of filtrate.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the filter element characterized in claim 1, the perforated support tubes of which are provided with longitudinal ribs.
The longitudinal ribs create channels between the filter body and the outflow openings of the support tubes, which increase the specific flow rate considerably. The profile thus formed consists of a large number of ridges, so that the tube is provided with fine ribs over its entire length. This rib-shaped profile also makes an additional support fabric unnecessary.
The invention will be illustrated with the aid of a drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the tube bundle
Fig. 2 is an elevation of the tube bundle in its central part.
Fig. 1 shows the cross section through the tube bundle of a filter candle. Six perforated support tubes 1 are arranged around the central tube of the same diameter in the densest packing. The support tubes 1 are provided with ribs 2 over their entire length. Channels are formed between the ribs in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A filter fabric 3 is stretched around the bundle and nestles against the surface of the support tubes from the outside in during the filtration.
The filtrate can thus flow freely through the channels into the openings 4.
