Abstract

A two-coloured ballpoint pen with the characteristic that both refills can be extended and retracted at the same time as each other. They are, however, also able to be switched individually. As a result, the colour can be changed in a second during writing by turning the writing implement between the fingers.

   PATENTANSPRUCH
Kugelschreiber mit zwei verschiedenfarbigen Minen, welche einzeln oder miteinander vorgeschoben oder zurückgenommen werden können, dadurch gekennzeichnet, das jede Mine in einer eigenen Führung steckt, welche parallel zueinander in der je gleichen Richtung angeordnet sind.



   Es gibt mehrere Systeme von mehrfarbigen Kugelschreibern, welche den Zweck erfüllen, mehrere Farben mit demselben Schreibegerät schreiben zu können. Sie alle haben die Eigenschaft, dass die einzelnen Minen nacheinander geschaltet werden können, wobei nur eine Farbe gleichzeitig vorgeschoben werden kann. Um die Farben zu wechseln, muss man den   Schreibfluss    kurz unterbrechen, die soeben verwendete Mine in das Schreibgerät zurückziehen und die andere, andersfarbige Mine vorschieben. Es gibt auch Systeme, bei denen die soeben verwendete Mine automatisch in den Stift zurückschnappt, wenn die nächstgewünschte Mine vorgeschoben wird. In beiden Fällen aber muss der   Schreibfluss    unterbrochen werden, um die Mine zu wechseln.



   Mit diesem neuen System nun entfällt dieser Arbeitsgang. Dadurch, dass beide Minen gleichzeitig vorgeschoben werden können. Will man nun mit einer andern Farbe weiterschreiben, braucht man nichts weiter als den Kugelschreiber zwischen Daumen, Mittel- und Zeigefinger zu drehen, und schon ist die andersfarbige Mine zur Hand. Dies geschieht nach kurzer   Ubung    in Sekundenschnelle, so dass der   Schreibfluss    nur noch kaum mehr merklich unterbrochen wird. Will man nur mit einer Farbe schreiben, braucht man nur die eine gewünschte Mine vorzuschieben. Die andere kann im Gehäuse gelassen werden.

 

   Der Aufbau des Schreibgerätes besteht aus einem Gehäuse 5. In diesem Gehäuse 5 befinden sich pro Mine je ein Druckknopf mit Schaltmechanismus 1/2. Mit diesen Druckknöpfen sind je eine Schreibmine 3/4 lose verbunden. In das Gehäuse 5 sind pro   Farbmineje    ein Führungsröhrchen 6/8 eingeschraubt. Dadurch können beide Schreibminen unabhängig voneinander ausgewechselt, respektive erneuert werden. Es braucht, um eine der beiden Minen zu wechseln, lediglich das dazugehörige Führunsröhrchen 6/8 ausgeschraubt, respektive nach Auswechseln der Mine 3/4 eingeschraubt werden. In jedem Führungsröhrchen 6/8 je ein Druckfederchen 7/9.

Ballpoint pen with two different colored refills, which can be pushed forward or withdrawn individually or together, characterized in that each refill is in its own guide, which are arranged parallel to each other in the same direction.



   There are several systems of multi-colored ballpoint pens which serve the purpose of being able to write several colors with the same writing instrument. They all have the property that the individual mines can be switched one after the other, whereby only one color can be advanced at a time. To change the colors, you have to briefly interrupt the flow of writing, pull the refill you just used back into the writing instrument and advance the other, differently colored refill. There are also systems in which the lead you have just used automatically snaps back into the pen when the next desired lead is advanced. In both cases, however, the flow of writing has to be interrupted in order to change the mine.



   With this new system, this step is no longer necessary. Because both mines can be advanced at the same time. If you want to continue writing with a different color, all you have to do is turn the ballpoint pen between your thumb, middle and forefinger, and the different colored lead is at hand. This happens after a short practice in seconds, so that the flow of writing is hardly interrupted any longer. If you only want to write with one color, you only have to advance the desired lead. The other can be left in the case.

 

   The construction of the writing instrument consists of a housing 5. In this housing 5 there is a push button with a switching mechanism 1/2 for each lead. Each of these push buttons is loosely connected 3/4. A guide tube 6/8 is screwed into the housing 5 per color cartridge. As a result, both writing leads can be replaced or replaced independently of one another. To change one of the two refills, all you need to do is unscrew the associated guide tube 6/8, or screw in after replacing the refill 3/4. In each guide tube 6/8 there is one compression spring 7/9.
