Abstract

The cap body (1) is coupled to a threaded bush (8) in a non-twistable but axially displaceable fashion, which bush (8) engages into the bush (4, 6) connected to the casing and is screwed to a female thread (7) of the said bush (4, 6). A radial flange (9) of the threaded bush (8) engages in a non-circular part (11) of the cap body beyond the outer end of the bush (4, 6). A washer (13) is inserted between the cap body and the outside of the bush (4) and can be placed under pressure by the flange (9) of the threaded bush (8) via a thrust ring (15) to increase the sealing effect. The design and assembly are kept simple to produce a cap which in the screwed-on condition is rigidly secured on the bush and which can have small dimensions, and a small diameter in particular. <IMAGE>
