5. gutter hook according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the semicircular section (12) with respect to the straight section (11) is angled (13) that the straight section 1) is not saturated by a protruding bead Lying on the support surface is hindered.
6. gutter hook according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the flat material for the fitting and / or the receiving member consists of copper.
The invention relates to a gutter hook consisting of a shaped piece of flat material with a straight section for attaching the hook to a support surface and an upright semicircular bent section for receiving the gutter, a support for the gutter and a link for fastening the gutter on one side the same are provided.
Gutter hooks are mass-produced items where it is very important that they are cheap to manufacture but still have a long service life. They must also have a high level of stability, as high snow loads are to be expected, especially in the mountains. Furthermore, the gutter hooks should be easy to use.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to improve the type of gutter hook mentioned above.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the support and the links form a receiving element which consists of a single piece of flat material.
This design of the gutter hook has the advantage that, in contrast to known gutter hooks, no additional insert has to be attached during assembly, so that the assembly of the gutter is made easier. Furthermore, since the members for fastening the gutter do not form separate parts but represent part of the receiving member, they cannot come loose from the gutter hook and fall off, as was the case with known gutter hooks.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the receiving member is connected to the semicircular section at two spaced locations. In contrast to the known prior art, a support is not simply inserted into the shaped piece, but the receiving member is connected to the shaped piece in two places. It therefore does not have to be inserted when installing the gutter and cannot easily be lost during transport. The double fastening also prevents the links from falling off for fastening the gutter.
The receiving element is expediently angled at the free end of the semicircular section and connected to the end face of the flat material. In this way, a simple connection is made possible, for which no special rivets are necessary, because the receiving element can be connected to the flat material using the wobble riveting method. The described design of the receiving member also takes the bulge of the gutter into account and prevents the gutter from being deformed inward when the fastening section is pressed down.
It is expediently provided that the receiving member has two slots in the vicinity of the straight section and is connected to the semicircular section by a U-shaped part which engages in the slots. This results in a simple and safe type of attachment.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the semicircular section is angled with respect to the straight section in such a way that the straight section is not hindered by a protruding bulge from resting fully on the support surface. In this way, the installation of the gutter hook is simplified.
Any suitable material can be used as the flat material for the shaped part and / or the receiving member, e.g. galvanized flat iron, Peraluman, chrome-nickel steel. However, the use of copper is particularly advantageous. Copper has a very high resistance to corrosion and has the easy deformability desired for the fastening elements. If necessary, the links can also be deformed several times without breaking off.
The invention will now be described with reference to the drawing.
The gutter hook consists essentially of a piece of flat material, e.g. Copper, steel with copper cladding, galvanized steel, peraluman or chrome nickel steel.
The flat material forms a shaped piece with a straight section 11 for fastening the hook to a support surface and a curved section 12 for receiving the gutter. For this purpose, the flat material has been bent in a semicircular shape. With respect to the straight section 11, the semicircular section 12 is further angled at 13 in such a way that the straight section is not impeded by a protruding bead from resting fully on a support surface. In a known gutter hook, the straight section 11 is simply rotated by 90 in the region of the transition to the curved section, so that a bulge is formed. This bulge is avoided with the new gutter hook.
The gutter hook also has a receiving member 15, which serves as a support 14 for the gutter and at the same time forms the links 17 and 19, which are also called springs in technical terms and are used to fasten the gutter. In the embodiment shown, the receiving member is made of copper, which has the advantage that the springs 17 and 19 can be easily deformed. The receiving member 15 is connected to the semicircular section 12 at two spaced locations. For this purpose it is at the free end of the half
circular section 12 angled and riveted with a nose protruding from the end face 21, as shown by reference numeral 23. In the vicinity of the straight section 11, the receiving member 15 has two parallel slots 25, 26 into which a U-shaped part 27 is inserted, which is connected to the semicircular section 12 by a rivet 29.
The holes 31 in the section 11 mentioned are used to fasten the gutter hook to the building by means of screws or the like.
