Fig. 1 eine Schrägansicht auf einen Teil einer an einer Wand befestigten erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung; Fig. 2,3 und 5 Querschitte durch andere Ausführungsformen der Vorrichtung;

10. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the longitudinal shaft (62) is formed by a bead-like formation of the one leg (54) of the pendulum profile (53a), and / or that as a clamping jaw from the housing base (36) a shape ( 75) protrudes, against which the lower end (SSp) of the pendulum profile can be guided.
The invention relates to a device for holding flexible material webs, in particular sheets or towels, which are possibly folded and then stretched, with two clamping jaws to be arranged on both sides of the material webs, which can be guided against one another and held in a clamping position.
Such a device is known from US Pat. No. 3,236,425, which has clamp-like clamping jaws. This device is disadvantageously difficult to handle. A stand is also described in US Pat. No. 3,712,643 which has clamps which are pressed against one another by means of energy stores and thereby offer an improved clamping action. In practice, however, these and other devices with complicated articulated lever systems have proven to be too complex. so that the aim of the present invention is. to create a device of the type mentioned. which is easy to handle and not too expensive to manufacture.
To achieve this object, the clamping jaws on the one hand the bottom of a housing of the device and on the other hand at least one profile or the like suspended at a distance from this floor delimit a clamping mouth on both sides which swings away from the housing or its rear wall movable profile can be closed. According to the invention, the pendulum profile should have an approximately L-shaped cross section and one profile leg should be connected to at least one longitudinal shaft provided in the housing, the other profile leg having a corrugated surface toward the housing base.
Such a device is easy to manufacture and very functional since there are no fragile parts; compared to the stationary housing - which can be made from an extruded U-profile according to a feature of the invention - and the oscillating profile surface, the material web can be easily clamped, by simply pushing it into the gap between the two parts. If you now pull on the material path, the pendulum profile moves with its free end in the direction of pull - i.e. away from the rear wall of the housing - until the path of movement is limited by a stop.
Thanks to a further requirement that the opposing profile surfaces are arched against each other, the clamping force increases when the material web is pulled.
In the context of the invention, the pendulum profile can be designed such that the position of its center of gravity returns to its rest position after the clamping jaw is released. According to a further feature of the invention, however, energy accumulators are provided between the housing and the pendulum profile for returning to the rest position, in which the clamping jaw is open for receiving the material web.
Further advantages, features and details of the invention result from the following description of preferred exemplary embodiments and from the drawing; this shows in
Figure 1 is an oblique view of part of an inventive device attached to a wall. Figures 2, 3 and 5 cross sections through other embodiments of the device;
Fig. 4 shows a part of the front view of Fig. 3, cut along the line IV-IV.
On a wall A, a device R1 is either pushed onto a profile 1 a by means of an undercut plug-in strip 1, or is fastened directly by screws 2 which pass through a back plate 3.
In the embodiment of FIG. 1, two side cheeks 4 of length b and height a each protrude from the back plate 3, for example 70 mm each, the upper longitudinal edges 6 of which are connected by a ridge plate 37 and a front strip 51 adjoining it. This housing 35 - in the rest position shown - is supplemented at the bottom by a base plate 36 which delimits lateral housing cutouts 7 in the region of the side cheeks 4 with their curved lower edges 5.
Between the base plate 36, which is slightly curved upwards in cross section, and the front strip 51, there is a front opening 41 of height h of, for example, 50 mm.
In the housing 35, a cross-sectionally approximately L-shaped profile 53 hangs on a longitudinal shaft 52. The long profile leg 54 is connected to that longitudinal shaft 52, while the shorter profile leg 55 oscillates above the base plate 36.
The provided with a friction-increasing cord 56
Surface 57 of the base plate 56 forms with the lower surface 58 of the profile leg 55, which is curved in the opposite direction, a gap-like clamping jaw 18, the small gap height z of which can be changed by the relative movement between the two delimiting and curved surfaces 57, 58; a piece of laundry Q pushed into the clamping mouth 18 in the direction of the arrow x is held between the creased surfaces 57, 58 then forming jaws and can be stretched by a single person; whose tensile force B is sufficient to carry out the smoothing process on the item of laundry Q.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 shows a housing 35 made from a single cut-to-length aluminum extruded profile 60, approximately U-shaped cross section with legs of different lengths, the bottom of which, in the installed position, is curved upwards in the region of the clamping jaw 18 and ends in a welt edge 59.
The upper leg represents the ridge plate 37 and merges with the formation of an undercut joint groove 61 into the inclined front strip 51, which forms a stop for the longer profile leg 54 of the pendulum profile 53 and limits its deflection from the rear wall 3 of the housing.
The joint groove present between the front strip 51 and a groove-like projection 64 accommodates, in the manner of a joint socket, a bead-like joint head 62 which, molded onto the long leg 54 of the L-profile 53 which is open on the outside, takes over the described function of the longitudinal shaft 52.
In order to obtain the rest position of the oscillating L-profile 53 shown in FIG. 2, the long leg 54 of the L-profile 53 is angled at 63; this leads to a center of gravity, which returns that pendulum profile 53 to the rest position shown. In this rest position, the pendulum profile 52 is only slightly removed from the surface 57 of the base plate 36. The maximum length of the pendulum profile 53 is designated q.
3, 4, the lower leg 36 of an extruded profile 60a is designed as a box 65; the side cheeks 4 each having an edge cutout 7 are slipped onto the extruded profile 60a, thanks to edge ribs 67 which form between slot grooves 66.
The pendulum profile 53a hangs with an eyelet end 63 on the longitudinal shaft 52 mounted at both ends in the housing 35 and is open to the housing interior 68 with an upwardly bent pendulum leg 55.
The rest position of the pendulum profile 53a is determined here by an expansion spring 70.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, a projection 75 - for example a welded-on round rod - projects from the base plate 36 at a distance t from its front edge, to which a rubber lip 76 or the like holding the inserted item of laundry Q is attached. That projection 75 represents the one jaw of the clamping jaw 18, the other jaw of which is represented by a lower projection 55p of the pendulum profile 53p.
