früher durch einen Klebstoff.

Device for ultrasound fixation of a plastic disc (10) on a prayer mat (15), which disc (10) on one of its surfaces with circular pins (1 0a) and on the other surface with a recess (1 ob ) for inserting a compass is provided with a table (1) serving as a support surface for the prayer mat (15) with built-in ultrasound generator (2), pneumatic device (3), microprocessor (4) and sonotrode (5) which sonotrode has an anvil (6) above the table (1), characterized by a stable cast arm (7) which is supported on the table (1) and which has a disc magazine (8),
carries the anvil (6) and a loading arm (9) which can be swiveled from the disc magazine (8) to the anvil (6) and back for the automatic feeding of the discs (10) from the disc magazine (8) to the anvil (6).
2. Device according to patent claim 1, characterized in that the loading arm (9) can be actuated by compressed air generated by the pneumatic device (3) and controlled by the microprocessor (4).
3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the loading arm (9) has a plate (18) for receiving the disc (10), the pins (10a) of which are directed against the plate (18).
4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the disc magazine (8) is removably inserted in a magazine holder (11) and has a compression spring (17) and a level indicator (12).
The invention is based on a device for ultrasonically fixing a pane made of plastic to a prayer rug, the pane being provided with circular pins on one of its surfaces and with a recess for inserting a compass on the other surface, with one for the prayer mat as a supporting surface table with built-in ultrasonic generator, pneumatic device, microprocessor and sonotrode, against which sonotrode an anvil is provided above the table.
Ultrasonic devices are known, by means of which plastic and metal parts are joined. A molded plastic pin that fits into the rivet hole is melted by the vibrations of the tool.
It forms a locking head, the shape of which is determined by the design of the tool. Such an ultrasound device is described in the prospectus from Branson (FRG) from October 1982.
The fixing of a compass disk to a prayer rug has hitherto been carried out by hand by gluing the compass disk onto the prayer rug. Each compass disc had to be removed and inserted individually. However, such work was tedious and time-consuming.
The invention described in claim 1 was based on the object of providing a device of the type mentioned at the beginning, by means of which a plastic pane can be fixed to a prayer mat by means of ultrasound without any aftertreatment and completely automatically. These operations should be carried out in a fast work cycle.
This object is achieved in a device according to the preamble of claim 1 by a stable cast arm which is supported on the table and which has a disc magazine, the anvil and a loading arm which can be pivoted from the disc magazine to the anvil and back to automatically feed the discs in time from the disc magazine to Carries anvil.
The loading arm can advantageously be actuated by compressed air generated by the pneumatic device and controlled by the microprocessor.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, for example. Show it
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the device according to the invention and
Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section of the plastic disc to be fixed on a prayer mat.
As can be seen in FIG. 1, the device for fixing by means of ultrasound of a plastic pane 10 to a prayer mat 15 consists of a table 1, in which practically all components are installed. These are an ultrasonic generator 2, a pneumatic device 3, a microprocessor 4 and a sonotrode 5. Opposite the sonotrode 5, an anvil is provided above the table 1, which is arranged axially with the sonotrode 5.
In the table, a fan 13 is also installed in a filter mat 19 and an exhaust air grille 14. With 20 an oil filter is designated.
The table 1 serves as a support surface for the prayer mat 15, which is guided in the centering marks 16 by hand on the table 1 under an anvil 6. The inserted prayer mat 15 is aligned with the centering marks 16.
A stable cast arm 7 is supported on the table 1, which carries a disk magazine 8 on the one hand and the anvil 6 on the other hand. Between the disc magazine 8 and the anvil 6, a loading arm 9 is fastened to the cast arm 7 and can be actuated by compressed air. The compressed air is generated by the pneumatic device 3 and fed to the loading arm 9 and controlled by the microprocessor 4 in accordance with the work cycle of the anvil 6. The La dearm 9 carries out a swiveling back and forth movement between the disk magazine 8 and the anvil 6.
In magazine 8, up to about 100 plastic discs 10 are stacked one above the other under the action of compression spring 17. Each plastic disk 10 has twelve plastic pins 10a on one of its surfaces and a recess 10b on its other surface for receiving a compass (not shown).
The magazine 8 is inserted in a magazine holder 11, from which it is easily removable. Under the action of the compression spring 17, the individual disks 10 stacked in the magazine 8 are inevitably guided to the bottom of the magazine 8. The number of disks 10 still present in the magazine 8 is indicated by a fill level indicator 12.
When refilling the magazine 8, the same is removed from the magazine holder 11 and the disks 10 are inserted into the same from the bottom thereof against the action of the compression spring 7.
From the magazine 8, the lowermost disc 10 is displaced onto the plate 18 of the loading arm 9 by suction, the pins 10a of the plastic disc 10 being directed towards the plate 18. There are twelve depressions in the plate 18, in which the twelve pins 10 a of the plastic disk 10 snap into place. Due to the pivoting movement of the loading space 9, the pane 10 in question is fed from the magazine 8 to the anvil 6, in which it is clamped. The anvil 6 then moves with the disk 10 in the direction of the sonotrode 5 provided in the table 1, the carpet 15 being located on the table 1 above the sonotrode 5. By pressing the anvil 6 and the disk 10 against the carpet 15, the pins 10a of the disk 10 penetrate the carpet, the thickness of which can be up to 10 mm
can carry. The pins 10a of the disk 10 come into contact with the ends of the sonotrodes, which are shown in FIG. 1 on the upper surface of the sonotrode 5 with small rings. Heat is generated by ultrasonic vibrations, by means of which the pins 10a are flattened softly and rivet-like by pressure, so that locking heads are formed. In this way, the pane 10 is immovably and permanently fixed to the prayer mat 15.
After the disk 10 has been fixed in place on the prayer mat 15, the same is removed from the table 1 and a compass (not shown) is inserted into the recess 10b in the disk 10. The prayer mat 15 is then aligned for prayer using the compass towards Mecca, as described in European Patent No. 4906.
The device, which operates at a nominal frequency of 190,000 Hz, has short cycle times. The time-consuming manual removal and insertion of the panes is eliminated.
Thanks to the simple construction of the device, it can also be operated by non-qualified personnel. The prayer rugs are not damaged at all, e.g. B.
earlier with an adhesive.
