Abstract
Resonator element (2) obtained by photochemical working from a thin piezoelectric plate (10) and having on its periphery fracture projections (5) entirely housed inside notches (7) so that the said projections do not overhang a specified general contour (6). The projections (5) arise from the fracture at the location of least resistance (4) of the isthmuses (3) which connect the resonator element (2) to the frame (1) which the remainder of the starting piezoelectric plate (10) forms after photochemical working. <IMAGE>
