Butylphenol-polyglykoläther in Frage.
A method for cleaning soiled articles, characterized in that a cleaning agent according to one of claims 1 and 2 is used.
The present invention relates to biodegradable cleaning agents for cleaning dirty objects and surfaces such as devices, apparatus, ceilings, walls, etc.
Cleaning agents are known which consist of mixtures of ionogenic and non-ionic organic washing raw materials. Such generally applicable cleaning mixtures based on mixtures of nonionic wetting agents with alkanolamines and complexing agents often contain known polyalkylene oxides. Although these have an excellent cleaning effect without increased foaming effect, they have the disadvantage that they are difficult to biodegrade.
The present invention relates to biodegradable cleaning agents consisting of an aqueous solution of
A 2 to 35 parts by weight of a Cs-CA higher alkylphenyl polyglycol ether with 5 to 25 glycol residues,
B 5 to 35 parts by weight of an alkanolamine,
C up to 6 parts by weight of a nitrilocarboxylic acid,
D 0 to 5 parts by weight of a sulfosuccinic acid Cs-CI "alkyl ester,
E 0 to 10 parts by weight of a Cie-Cis alcohol mixture of partially unsaturated alcohols etherified with 10 to 15 mol of ethylene oxide,
F 0 to 10 parts by weight of a sulfated Cl6-Cls-carboxylic acid C2 to C4-alkyl ester, the carboxylic acid being at least partially unsaturated, with the proviso that the sum of components D, E and F must not be zero .
The detergent can continue
G up to 10 parts by weight of a higher Cs-CI4 alcohol and
H contain up to 2 parts by weight of a water-soluble silicone oil.
In the absence of one of the components G or H, the other component is usually not necessary or desirable. The amounts of G and H are preferably 1 to 3 parts for G and 0.5 to 1 part for H. The sum of all components in the finished mixture is on average about 15-30%.
The higher alkylphenyl polyglycol ethers (A) used are, in particular, the commercially available nonylphenol polyglycol ethers with an average of 8 to 12, preferably around 9 to 10, glycol units or corresponding iso-octylphenol or di-tert.
Butylphenol polyglycol ether in question.
Particularly suitable alkanolamines (B) are the mono-, di- and triethanolamines, especially the former.
The most suitable nitrilocarboxylic acids (C) are ammoniacetriacetic acid and very particularly ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, the amount of which depends on the hardness or the heavy metal ion content of the water.
As the sulfosuccinic acid alkyl ester (D), the commercially available isooctyl (= 2-ethyl-hexyl) ester is particularly suitable.
As component E, a cetyl-oleyl alcohol mixture ethoxylated with about 10 to 12 ethylene oxide units is particularly suitable.
Component F is preferably a sulfated oleic acid ester of the type specified.
The components G and H which may be present are preferably the tetramethylnonanol (mixture from the trade) (G) and commercially available silicone preparations which are water-soluble (H). Components G and H are particularly preferred when foaming is to be suppressed in the cleaning process.
The amounts (in% by weight) of the components (without taking water or other admixtures into account) are as follows (the sum of D + E + F should not be zero): A 15-70%, preferably 15-30% B bis 60%, preferably 20-50% C 0-30%, preferably 5-20% D 0-25%, preferably 0-10% E 0-35%, preferably 0-10% F 0-35%, preferably 0- 10% G 0-15%, preferably 8-10% H 0- 5%, preferably 2-3% G and H only if desired or required).
The cleaning agents of the type according to the invention can also advantageously be used in combination with lower (Cl-C4) alcohols, glycols (C2-Cs), soaps (especially soft soap) or
also non-water-soluble organic cleaning agents (white spirit, chlorinated hydrocarbons, etc.) can be used together, the addition of these additives preferably being up to 20% if their presence is desired.
The agents are prepared by stirring the components into demineralized water in the order mentioned above until homogeneity is achieved.
For average soiled objects, depending on the type of soiling, a 1-5% amount (based on the cleaning liquor) of the above-mentioned aqueous (approx. 30%) cleaning agent is required.
The field of application of the agents according to the invention includes glasses, kettles, pipes and the like contaminated with dyes, the dyes in the broadest sense comprising soluble or pigmented compounds.
Furthermore, dirty devices can be cleaned with grease, protein, starch derivatives and the like using these agents. Finally, the agents according to the invention are suitable for cleaning objects, buildings, road surfaces and the like contaminated with oil and tar.
In this sense, the invention also relates to a method for cleaning soiled objects, characterized in that a cleaning agent according to the invention is used.
Further applicability is evident from the examples below, but these are not intended to limit the invention.
In the examples, parts are parts by weight or parts by volume, percentages by weight, the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
700 parts of demineralized water are placed in a vessel at room temperature. The mixture is then added (in the order described) with stirring (in each case until complete mixing)
40 parts of ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid, commercially available (Plexophore HBN powder), 110 parts of nonylphenol polyglycol ether with 10 moles of ethylene oxide units, in 35% aqueous form (= about 40 parts of anhydrous substance), commercial goods, 100 parts of monoethanolamine,
50 parts of a commercially available sulfosuccinic acid isooctyl ester preparation (approx. 35% active ingredient).
After about 10 minutes to 1 hour of stirring (depending on the batch size), a usable mixture is reached which can be used as such in the examples below.
Example 2
According to the instructions in Example 1, 715 parts of water, demineralized, are placed in a vessel at room temperature. With stirring, the same agents - nonylphenol polyglycol ether only 100 parts (= about 35 parts of anhydrous substance) - are then added in each case until the mixture is completely mixed.
In the end
20 parts of tetramethylnonanol (mixture, commercial goods) and
5 parts of water-soluble silicone oil (commercial goods) are mixed with the above-described mixture to a usable mixture (until homogeneous).
Example 3
Laboratory equipment containing dried blood, brain matter and albumin that has stood for a long time is placed in a solution containing 3 to 5% of the cleaning agent of Example 1, depending on the level of contamination, for 2 to 3 hours at 80 ° C. or 12 hours at room temperature. They can be used again after rinsing with water.
Example 4
Glassware, metal parts and plastic devices that are contaminated with fats or oils can be reused by placing them in a solution of Example 1, which contains 1 to 5% detergent depending on the degree of contamination.
Example 5
In a dishwashing machine, glass and metal laboratory equipment with dried blood and dye that has stood for a long time can be used with a solution that contains 2-50 g / l of the cleaning agent according to Example 2, depending on the degree of soiling, at 90 "without foam problems getting cleaned.
