Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schachtel mit einem einen Boden und Wände aufweisenden Unterteil, einem Deckel und mindestens einem den Deckel mit dem Unterteil verbindenden Scharnier, wobei der Unterteil und der Deckel aus Kunststoff bestehen. Da nun das Scharnierband aus einem weichen, biegbaren Material bestehen muss, sind zwangsläufig auch der Unterteil und Deckel relativ weich und wenig formfest. Dies ist in vielen Fällen ein Nachteil. Zudem ist es auch nicht möglich, den Unterteil und Deckel aus verschiedenfarbigen oder verschieden durchsichtigen Materialien herzustellen, wie es oft wünschenswert wäre. Damit der Zapfen zwischen die Köpfe eingesetzt werden kann, müssen diese über elastisch deformierbare Hälse mit dem restlichen Unterteil zusammenhängen. Der Unterteil muss daher auch bei dieser Schachtel aus einem Kunststoff bestehen, der noch relativ leicht elastisch deformierbar ist. Ein weiterer Nachteil dieser Schachteln besteht noch darin, dass die Scharniere relativ leicht auseinanderfallen und insbesondere die Zapfen aus dem zwischen den Köpfen vorhandenen Zwischenräumen hinausspringen, wenn man den Deckel zu weit öffnet. Man kann dann den Deckel zwar wieder einsetzen, wobei aber beim Herausspringen oder Wiedereinsetzen die Gefahr besteht, dass einer der Köpfe oder Zapfen abbricht.
