PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Abnehmbare und waschbare Hülle für Schaumstoffkerne, insbesondere für Matratzen und Kissen, mit einem den Schaumstofikern umhüllenden inneren Abdeckgewebe und einem äusseren Bezug, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen Bezug (9) und innerem Abdeckgewebe (3) eine Wollauflage (5) in Kombination mit fettbindender, synthetischer Watte (4) angeordnet ist und die Wollauflage (5) aus mindestens annähernd parallelen, jeweils eine Vielzahl von Einzelfasern aufweisenden Fäden (6) besteht, welche eine leichte Zwirnung aufweisen und durch quer zur Fadenrichtung verlaufende Bundnähte (7) fixiert sind.
2. Hülle nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fäden (6) an ihren Kontaktstellen mit den Bundnähten (7) durch die letzteren verdichtet sind, so dass längs jeder Bundnaht (7) zwischen jeweils zwei einander benachbarten Fäden (6) ein der Durchlüftung dienender Zwischenraum (8) entsteht.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine abnehmbare und waschbare Hülle für Schaumstoffkerne, welche insbesondere in Matratzen und Kissen Verwendung finden und umfasst u. a. ein den Schaumstofikern umhüllendes inneres Abdeckgewebe und einen äusseren Bezug.
Obermatratzen werden bekanntlich mit einer nicht waschbaren, zwischen Matratzenbezug und Schaumstoffkern angeordneten Wollauflage versehen, welche insbesondere der ständigen Aufnahme und Abgabe von Feuchtigkeit dient und so in diesem Sinne eine Pufferfunktion ausübt.
Üblicherweise besteht diese Wollauflage aus Schurwolle in Form von Wolle-Watte. Dieses Wattegebilde wird im Gebrauch durch Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme (Schweiss) verfestigt, so dass es eine brettige , filzartige Konsistenz annimmt und seine Pufferfunktion nur noch in unzureichendem Masse ausüben kann. Die filzartig verfestigte Wollauflage, welche auch lokale Zusammenballungen aufweisen kann, lässt die Luft als Feuchtigkeitsträger nicht mehr in dem gewünschten Ausmasse passieren, wodurch sie innerhalb der zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit nicht mehr richtig trocknen kann.
Um die unangenehmen Folgen der Verdichtung in Grenzen zu halten, muss die Wollauflage sehr voluminös gewählt werden, doch lassen sich die erwähnten Nachteile dadurch, wie die Erfahrung lehrt, zwar etwas hinausschieben, auf die Dauer aber nicht vermeiden. Ein weiterer Nachteil besteht darin, dass sich die bekannten Hüllen in Anbetracht der in Watteform angebrachten Wollauflage nicht waschen lassen.
Es ist somit die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine abnehmbare und waschbare Hülle für Matratzen und Kissen vorzuschlagen, welche mit einer Wollauflage versehen ist und die vom Körper abgegebene Feuchtigkeit auch nach längerem Gebrauch mit Sicherheit absorbiert und dank ihrer guten Durchlüftung auch wieder rasch an die Umgebungsluft abgibt. Diese Hülle sollte ferner der Tatsache Rechnung tragen, dass synthetischer Schaumstoffweichmacherempfindlich ist und der menschliche Körperschweiss eine Weichmacherfunktion bezüglich des Matratzen Schaumstoffkernes ausübt.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass die den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Hülle der im Patentanspruch 1 aufgeführten Merkmalskombination entspricht.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht.
Fig. 1 ist eine vereinfachte Perspektivansicht einer Obermatratze, welche mit einer erfindungsgemäss ausgebildeten Hülle versehen ist;
Fig. 2 veranschaulicht ein Detail dieser Hülle und
Fig. 3 ist eine Draufsicht auf einen Abschnitt der Wollauflage.
Gemäss Fig. 1 ist ein aus Schaumstoff bestehender Matratzenkern 1 von einer abnehmbaren und waschbaren Hülle 2 umgeben, welche zwecks einfacher Abnahme mit einem nicht dargestellten Reissverschluss oder anderen, leicht lösbaren Mitteln versehen sein kann.
Die Hülle 2 umfasst ein inneres Abdeckgewebe 3, das den Schaumstoffkern 1 umhüllt und vorzugsweise ein Tricotgewebe ist. Auf diesem liegt eine Auflage von synthetischer Watte 4, vorzugsweise eine Acrylfaserwatte, die die vor nehmliche Aufgabe hat, die im Schweiss enthaltenen Fettanteile zu binden und vom Schaumstoffkern fernzuhalten. Nun folgt eine Wollauflage 5, welche eine Vielzahl praktisch paralleler Fäden 6 umfasst; jeder Faden 6 setzt sich aus zahlreichen Wollfasern zusammen und ist leicht gezwirnt.
Durch quer zur Fadenrichtung verlaufende Bundnähte 7 werden die einzelnen Fäden 6 einerseits in einem voraus bestimmbaren gegenseitigen Abstand gehalten, vor allen Dingen aber fixiert, wobei anderseits an den Kontaktstellen der Bundnähte 7 mit den Fäden 6 Zwischenräume 8 entstehen, die zur Durchlüftung der gesamten Hülle 2 und des Matratzenkerns 1 beitragen.
Die leicht gedrehten Wollfäden 6 behalten auch beim Waschen ihre Form bei und können dank der Fixierung durch die Bundnähte 7 nicht verrutschen. In Anbetracht der Zwischenräume 8 findet innerhalb der Matratzenhülle 2 eine Dauerbelüftung statt, welche durch die unwillkürlichen Schlafbewegungen der ruhenden Person noch begünstigt wird. Das bekannte und gefürchtete Verfilzen der Wollauflage ist bei der beschriebenen Ausführung unmöglich und die Hülle entspricht den Anforderungen an Hygiene auch insofern, als sie komplett abnehmbar und waschbar ist.
Die Befestigung der Bundnähte an den Wollfäden kann vom Fachmann in vielfacher Hinsicht gewählt werden, sei es durch Binden, Klöppeln oder auf anderem, bekanntem Wege.
Die Kombination der Wollauflage 5 mit der synthetischen Watte 4 sorgt dafür, dass sämtliche Bestandteile, d. h.
Fett und Wasser, innerhalb der Hülle absorbiert werden.
Dank dem grossen, den Matratzenkern umgebenden Luftvorrat (Zwischenräume 8) und der daraus resultierenden guten Durchlüftung kann das Gewebe die einmal aufgenommene Feuchtigkeit rasch wieder abgeben. Damit erreicht man ein angenehmes, vor allem vom Rheumatologen gefordertes und von Rheumatikern geschätztes trocken-warmes Klima.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Removable and washable cover for foam cores, in particular for mattresses and pillows, with an inner cover fabric enveloping the foam core and an outer cover, characterized in that a wool cover (5) in combination with cover (9) and inner cover fabric (3) fat-binding, synthetic cotton (4) is arranged and the wool pad (5) consists of at least approximately parallel threads (6), each of which has a large number of individual fibers, which have a slight twist and are fixed by collar seams (7) running transversely to the thread direction.
2. Cover according to claim 1, characterized in that the threads (6) at their contact points with the collar seams (7) are compressed by the latter, so that along each collar seam (7) between two adjacent threads (6) one of the Aeration space (8) is created.
The present invention relates to a removable and washable cover for foam cores, which are used in particular in mattresses and pillows and includes u. a. an inner cover fabric enveloping the foam core and an outer cover.
Upper mattresses are known to be provided with a non-washable wool pad arranged between the mattress cover and the foam core, which serves in particular for the constant absorption and release of moisture and thus has a buffering function in this sense.
This wool pad usually consists of new wool in the form of wool-wadding. This cotton structure is solidified in use by moisture absorption (sweat), so that it takes on a boardy, felt-like consistency and can only perform its buffering function to an insufficient extent. The felt-like solidified wool pad, which can also have local agglomerations, does not allow the air as moisture carrier to pass through to the desired extent, which means that it can no longer dry properly within the time available.
In order to keep the unpleasant consequences of the compression within limits, the wool pad must be chosen to be very voluminous, but, as experience has shown, the disadvantages mentioned can be postponed somewhat, but not avoided in the long run. Another disadvantage is that the known casings cannot be washed in view of the wool pad attached in the form of cotton wool.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to propose a removable and washable cover for mattresses and pillows, which is provided with a wool pad and which absorbs the moisture given off by the body with certainty even after prolonged use and, thanks to its good ventilation, also quickly releases it into the ambient air delivers. This sheath should also take into account the fact that synthetic foam plasticizers are sensitive and human body sweat has a plasticizing function with regard to the mattress foam core.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the envelope forming the subject of the invention corresponds to the combination of features listed in claim 1.

1, a mattress core 1 consisting of foam is surrounded by a removable and washable cover 2, which can be provided with a zipper (not shown) or other, easily detachable means for easy removal.
The cover 2 comprises an inner cover fabric 3, which envelops the foam core 1 and is preferably a tricot fabric. On top of this lies a pad of synthetic cotton 4, preferably an acrylic fiber cotton, which has the usual task of binding the fat components contained in the sweat and keeping it away from the foam core. Now follows a wool pad 5, which comprises a plurality of practically parallel threads 6; each thread 6 is composed of numerous wool fibers and is slightly twisted.
By means of transverse seams 7 running transversely to the thread direction, the individual threads 6 are held at a predeterminable mutual distance on the one hand, but above all are fixed, on the other hand gaps 8 are created at the contact points of the seams 7 with the threads 6, which are used to ventilate the entire casing 2 and contribute to the mattress core 1.
The slightly twisted wool threads 6 retain their shape even when washed and cannot slip thanks to the fixation by the seams 7. In view of the spaces 8, there is permanent ventilation within the mattress cover 2, which is further promoted by the involuntary sleep movements of the resting person. The well-known and feared felting of the wool pad is impossible in the described embodiment and the cover also meets the hygiene requirements in that it is completely removable and washable.
The fastening of the collar seams to the wool threads can be chosen in many ways by the person skilled in the art, whether by tying, bobbin-making or by other known means.
The combination of the wool pad 5 with the synthetic cotton 4 ensures that all components, i.e. H.
Fat and water are absorbed within the shell.
Thanks to the large air supply (spaces 8) surrounding the mattress core and the resulting good ventilation, the tissue can quickly release the moisture once it has been absorbed. This creates a pleasant, dry and warm climate, which is particularly required by the rheumatologist and appreciated by rheumatists.
