The compounds of the formula I are herbicides which, when used in the pre- and post-emergence process, show good activity against a broad spectrum of harmful grasses. They can be used to control grass-like weeds such as wild oats (Avena), arctic foxtail (Alopecurus), raygrass (Lolium), bristle, chicken and millet (Setaria, Echinocloa, Digitaria) in dicotyledon crops.
With some of the compounds of formula I, even grassy weeds in crops can be selectively controlled.
Sojabohne, Erdnuss, Buschbohne, Ackerbohne, Erbse, Luzerne, Kohl, Raps, Gurke, Sonnenblume, Tabak, Karotte, Sellerie und Zuckerrübe werden auch in hohen Dosierungen nicht geschädigt. Soybean, peanut, bush bean, field bean, pea, alfalfa, cabbage, rapeseed, cucumber, sunflower, tobacco, carrot, celery and sugar beet are not damaged even in high doses.
Due to the special action against grass, especially oats, foxtail, ray grass and millet, the new are a number of proven herbicidal agents, such as the effects of the compounds known under the "common names" Alachlor, Monolinuron, Linuron, Pyrazon, Phenmedi-pham, sodium trichloroacetate, Fluorodifen and Mecoprop, superior in their use in fields heavily infested with grass.
In addition, the amounts required to completely destroy the grass are far less than with the known herbicides mentioned above.
I. The favorable warm-blood toxicity of the compounds of the formula I are also advantageous.
Piricularia oryzae, Rostpilze, Botrytis cinerea, Plasmopara viticola, Phy-tophthora infestans, Echte Mehltauarten, Rhizoctonia solani, Septorianodorum, Ustilago nuda, Phoma betae, Phythium ultimum und Helminthosporium gramineum. Surprisingly, the compounds of the formula I also show good activity against harmful fungi on industrial substrates and against phytopathogenic fungi, such as e.g. Piricularia oryzae, rust fungi, Botrytis cinerea, Plasmopara viticola, Phy-tophthora infestans, powdery mildew species, Rhizoctonia solani, Septorianodorum, Ustilago nuda, Phoma betae, Phythium ultimum and Helminthosporium gramineum.
The agents according to the invention generally contain 2 to 95% by weight of the active ingredients of the formula I. They can be used as wettable powders, emulsifiable concentrates, sprayable solutions, dusts or granules in the usual 5 preparations.
Wettable powders are preparations which are uniformly dispersible in water and which, in addition to the active substance, contain wetting agents, e.g. polyoxyethylated alkylphenols, polyoxyethylated oleyl or stearylamines, alkyl or alkylphenyl sulfonates, and dispersants, e.g. sodium lignosulfonate, 2,2'-dinaphthylmethane-6,6'-disulfonic acid sodium, or also oleoylmethyl-tauric acid sodium.
Emulsifiable concentrates are usually made by dissolving the active ingredient in an organic solvent, e.g. Obtained butanol, cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide, xylene or higher-boiling aromatics.
Dusts are advantageously obtained by grinding the active ingredient with finely divided, solid substances, e.g. Talc, 20 natural clays, such as kaolin, bentonite, pyrophyllite or diatomaceous earth.
Sprayable solutions, as are often sold in spray cans, contain the active ingredient dissolved in an organic solvent, next to it is e.g. as a blowing agent, a mixture of chlorofluorocarbons and / or carbon dioxide.
Granules can either be produced by spraying the active ingredient onto adsorbable, granulated inert material or by applying active ingredient concentrates using adhesives, e.g. Polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic acid sodium or mineral oils on the surface of carriers such as sand, kaolinite, or granulated inert material. Suitable active ingredients can also be produced in the manner customary for the production of fertilizer granules - if desired in a mixture with fertilizers.
In the case of the herbicidal compositions, the concentrations of the active compounds in the commercial formulations can be different. In wettable powders the active ingredient concentration varies e.g. between about 10 and 80%, the rest consists of the formulation additives indicated above. In the case of emulsifiable concentrates, the active substance concentration is approximately 10 to 80%. Dust-like formulations usually contain 5 to 20% of active ingredient, sprayable solutions about 45 2 to 20%. In the case of granules, the active ingredient content depends in part. depends on whether the active compound is liquid or solid and which granulation aids, fillers etc. are used.
For use, the commercially available concentrates are optionally diluted in the customary manner, e.g. for wettable powders and emulsifiable concentrates using water. Dusty and granulated preparations and sprayable solutions are no longer diluted with other inert substances before use. With the external conditions such as temperature, humidity and. a. the required application rate varies. It can fluctuate within wide limits, e.g. between 0.1 and 10 kg / ha active substance,
liegt jedoch vorzugsweise zwischen 0,1 und 3 kg/ha. Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I können mit anderen Herbiziden und Boden-60 insektiziden kombiniert werden. however, is preferably between 0.1 and 3 kg / ha. The active compounds of the formula I can be combined with other herbicides and soil-60 insecticides.

Biologische Beispiele Herbizide Beispiel I Vorauflaufbehandlung Biological Examples Herbicides Example I Pre-emergence Treatment
Bonitierungsschema) festgehalten. Seeds of grass were sown in pots and the preparations of the compounds of the formula I, formulated as wettable powder or emulsion concentrates, were sprayed onto the earth's surface in various doses. The pots were then placed in a greenhouse for 4 weeks and the result of the treatment (as in the following examples) was recorded by means of a rating according to the Bolle scheme (see rating scheme).
The preparations listed in Table I show a very good activity against the harmful grasses, which is still present in most species even at the lowest dosage of 0.15 kg of active substance / ha. The comparative preparations Fluorodi-fen and Mecoprop were significantly weaker in their action against grasses.
Beispiel II Nachauflaufbehandlung Example II Post-emergence treatment
Seeds of grass were sown in pots and grown in the greenhouse. 3 weeks after sowing, the preparations of the compounds of the formula I, formulated as wettable powder or emulsion concentrates, were sprayed onto the plants in various dosages and after 4 weeks in the greenhouse the effects of the preparations were rated.
The preparations listed in Table II show a good to very good activity against the harmful grasses and are superior to the comparative agents fluorodifen and mecoprop.
Beispiel III Example III
In a further experiment using the same methodology as in Example II (post-emergence treatment), different crop plants were sprayed with suspensions or emulsions of the substances mentioned in Examples I and II. Even in the high dosage of 2.5 kg / ha, soybean, peanut, bush bean, field bean, pea, alfalfa, flax, cabbage, 35 rapeseed, cucumber, sunflower, tobacco, carrot, celery and sugar beet showed no damage. Barley and wheat showed no reaction to the preparations according to Examples 1, 2, 8, 11, 37, 38, 43, 47, 53, 56 and 57.
Similar results are obtained if the substances 40 are sprayed onto the surface of the soil in a pre-emergence process.
