PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1.Sealable inspection opening in a gas-tight boiler wall, which is formed from parallel wall tubes connected by webs, characterized in that two adjacent wall tubes on the side of the boiler are indented approximately tangentially to a fictitious cone surface to form the wall opening, the axis of the fictitious Kegehfläche, the tip is directed outwards, is essentially parallel to the direction of view, and that the web between the two wall tubes in the area of the opening delimited by the fictitious Kegelifläche is omitted.
2. Viewing opening according to claim 1, characterized in that on the outside of the boiler wall in the region of the opening, a preferably circular cylindrical, a flange is provided, which is welded tightly to the boiler wall.
3. Viewing opening according to claim 2, characterized in that the flange is rectangular on the outside, and that a cover plate is fastened to this flange, which covers an insulation lying on the outside of the boiler wall.
The invention relates to a lockable inspection opening in a gas-tight boiler wall, which is formed from parallel wall tubes connected by webs.
It is known to provide inspection openings in boiler walls of this type by bending one or more tubes out of their axial direction for each opening. Such formation of the show opening is very expensive and time consuming. It has also been proposed to cut the tube wall after a conical surface and then to weld a sheet metal cone into this conical surface. Cutting the pipe wall is again costly, and welding the sheet metal cone creates the risk of uncontrollable welding beads and welding burrs inside the pipe, which can significantly disrupt the flow of the working fluid in the wall pipes.
It is an object of the invention to provide an improved viewing opening compared to the known viewing openings.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that two adjacent wall tubes are dented on the inside of the boiler approximately tangentially to a fictitious conical surface, the axis of the fictitious conical surface, the tip of which is directed outwards, being essentially parallel to the viewing direction, and that Bridge between the two wall tubes in the area of the opening delimited by the fictitious conical surface is omitted.
This design of the viewing opening avoids the disadvantages of the known viewing openings and moreover achieves the advantage that the inner cross section of the wall tubes surrounding the viewing opening changes relatively smoothly in the axial direction thereof, so that the flow rate compared to that of the undeformed neighboring tubes practically does not occur for a given pressure difference is affected.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows a section through a tube wall in the region of the viewing opening.
Parallel wall pipes 1, 2, 3 are connected by webs 4, 5, 6 to form a gas-tight pipe wall 7, which separates a boiler room 8 from the surroundings. The wall tubes 2 and 3 are dented in the area of an axis 10, which runs symmetrically and perpendicular to the wall tubes 2 and 3, in such a way that the bulging surface delimits a circular conical surface 12, the axis of which coincides with the axis 10 and the tip with respect to the the wall 7 of the limited boiler room 8 is directed towards the outside. The web 5 is interrupted in the region of the cone 12, so that from the region of the tip of the cone 12 there is a conically extending, against the Kes selraum 8 expanding viewing opening.
On the outside of the boiler wall 7, extending over the tubes 2 and 3 and the web 5, a cylindrical connection piece 20 with flange 21 is welded on. This flange 21 has a rectangular outline to which a cover plate 23, which is folded at 24, is welded. The cover plate covers thermal insulation that is applied to the gas-tight wall 7. A transparent window and / or a door, which is not shown, is attached to the flange 21 in a manner known per se. The two tubes 2 and 3 are surprisingly little weakened by the dents, because the bulging surfaces run like a vault.
Deviating from the described embodiment, the axis 10 of the conical surface 12 can also be inclined to the pipe wall 7 if the viewing direction so requires.
