PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Device for the adjustable fastening of the articulated arms of a sun blind to a support tube, characterized in that a coaxially arranged on the support tube (1), the pivot bearing (2a) for the articulated arm (4) has a ring piece (2) symmetrical with respect to its radial central plane , which has a conically widening center opening (5) from the inside towards both sides, into which a corresponding outer cone (6a) projects from each side, each with a clamping disc (6), which clamping discs (6) are non-rotatable and axially lockable on the support tube (1 ) sit and can be clamped in the ring piece (2) by means of axially parallel clamping bolts (8).
2. Fastening device according to claim 1, characterized in that the inner conical surfaces of the central opening (5) of the ring piece (2) have a corrugation or knurling.
3. Fastening device according to claim 2, characterized in that the clamping bolts (8) acting on the clamping disks (6) extend through approximately 900 circumferential angle guide slots (9) in the ring piece (2).
4. Fastening device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the support tube (1) has a 4-section, the 4-section openings of the clamping disks (6) have a recess (11) in a corner section, in which there is an angle piece (12) which can be pressed against the corner portion of the support tube (1) by means of a radial clamping screw (14).
5. Fastening device according to claim 4, characterized in that each clamping disc (6) is provided with a scale (10a), on which by means of a mark (1 Ob) on the ring piece (2) its relative rotational position to the clamping discs (6) and thus the inclination of the articulated arm (4) can be read.
It is customary to fasten the articulated arms, which are usually arranged in pairs, by means of clamping brackets or clamping flanges on a continuous, round or square support tube in such a way that the articulated arm can be continuously adjusted from the horizontal to the vertical position; a position selected in this area should not change either by sagging or by lateral displacement on the support tube. With small articulated arm lengths, the above-mentioned conditions could be solved more or less satisfactorily with the known fastening devices. But there were already problems with longer articulated arms. A sagging could only be achieved by attaching fixed cams or stops so-called forced position. This resulted in the following disadvantages: small adjustment range of the drop height, no fine adjustment of the drop height possible and complex assembly.
These disadvantages are avoided with the type of articulated arm attachment according to the invention. For this purpose, the fastening device according to the invention is characterized in that a ring piece which is arranged coaxially on the support tube and has the pivot bearing for the articulated arm has a central opening which is symmetrical with respect to its radial center plane and widens conically from the inside to both sides, into the opening of both A corresponding outer cone protrudes from each side of a clamping disc, which clamping discs are non-rotatably and axially lockable on the support tube and can be clamped non-rotatably in the ring piece by means of axially parallel clamping bolts.
By clamping the disc cones in the inner cones of the ring piece, an immovable fixation of the ring piece carrying the articulated arm is achieved on the rotatably arranged disks on the support tube and sagging of the articulated arm is impossible. The drop height of the articulated arm is determined depending on the relative rotational position of the ring piece and discs.
The clamping bolts expediently penetrate circular arc slots in the ring piece, which extend over 90 circumferential angles, so that the latter can be rotated by this angle with respect to the disks when the clamping is released; this makes it possible to fix the articulated arm continuously in any position between horizontal and vertical. It has proven to be particularly expedient to attach a degree scale or mark to the disks and ring piece, so that the set angular position of the articulated arm can be read at any time. This also ensures with simple means that each articulated arm receives the same inclination.
What is essential, as mentioned, is the absolutely rotationally fixed connection of the three individual parts of the fastening device by means of the mutual cone input of these parts; In order to optimally ensure this clamping connection, it is particularly advantageous according to the invention to provide one of the conical surfaces which come into engagement with one another, expediently that of the ring piece, with a corrugation or knurling. This increases the specific surface pressure between the cone surfaces and compensates for any inaccuracies in the cone surfaces.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing, for example; in the drawing shows:
Fig. 1 is a front view, partly in axial section, the articulated arm fastening device in the open state, and
FIG. 2 shows a side view, partially broken away, of the device according to FIG. 1.
In the drawing, 1 is a support tube having a square cross section, which, in a manner known per se, is attached to the building structure supporting the sun blind, e.g. Wall or ceiling, can be attached. On this support tube 1 there is a number of fastening devices corresponding to the number of articulated arms of the store, described in more detail below.
Each of these fastening devices has a coaxially arranged on the support tube 1 ring piece 2, from the periphery of which a pivot bearing bearing eyes 2a protrude, on which by means of a fastening bolt 3 the articulation end of the articulated arm 4 (FIG. 2) in a plane containing the ring piece and support tube axis a is pivotally mounted.
The central opening 5 of the ring piece 2 is formed symmetrically conically widening outwards with respect to its radial central plane; the two inner cone surfaces thus formed are provided with corrugation or knurling. With a suitable square opening, a clamping disk 6 is placed on the support tube 1 on both sides of the ring piece 2. Each of these clamping disks 6 has, on the side facing the ring piece 2, a projecting hub 6a with an outer cone surface, the cone angle of which corresponds to that of the inner cone surfaces of the ring piece 2. The peripheral flange of the two clamping disks 6 is provided with two diametrically opposed, stepped openings 7, the stepping of which serves to support the head or the nut of a clamping bracket 8.
The two clamping bolts 8 each pass through a guide slot 9 in the ring piece 2, each extending over approximately 90 circumferential angles. In the assembled state, the two cone hubs 6a of the clamping disks 6 engage in the associated cone section of the ring piece center opening 5 and are thus clamped against one another by the clamping bolts 8 that the ring piece 2 is absolutely non-rotatably connected to the clamping disks 6. The arrangement of the guide slots 9 in the ring piece 2 is such that when the clamping bolts 8 are loosened slightly and the clamping connection between the clamping disks 6 and the ring piece is loosened accordingly
2 the latter can be rotated into any position between the horizontal and vertical articulated arm 4 and can be fixed in this position by tightening the clamping bolts 8. As can be seen in FIG. 2, the clamping disks 6 are provided on the outside with a degree scale 10a, on which the respective relative rotational position of the ring piece 2 with respect to the clamping disks 6 seated non-rotatably on the support tube 1 can be read by means of a mark 10b attached to the ring piece 2. This enables a quick and exact adjustment of the angular position of all support arms.
From the foregoing it can be seen that the clamping disks 6 are to be arranged in a rotationally fixed but axially displaceable manner on the support tube 1; since the tolerances of square pipes are usually relatively large, the opening width of the clamping disks 6 must be selected to be relatively large; this can lead to undesirably large play between the clamping disc 6 and the support tube 1. In order to avoid any disadvantages associated therewith, a corner part of the recess of each clamping disk 6 is provided with a recess 11 in which a corresponding angle piece 12 lies, which can be pressed against the supporting tube 1 by means of a clamping screw 14 inserted into a radial threaded bore 13; This not only takes into account an undesirably large game, but the clamping disks 6 can also be secured against axial displacement on the support tube 1.
The fastening device described not only allows the infinitely adjustable, immovable fixing of the articulated arm 4 in the desired angular position, but also considerably simplifies the provision, transport and assembly of the store, since the entire device with all its parts can be fixed on the articulated arm; For the purpose of assembly, the fastening device located on the articulated arm 4 can simply be pushed onto the support tube 1 and fixed on the latter by tightening the clamping screws 14.
