Description

The subject of the present invention is a device intended for the physical and / or chemical activation of the water delivered by jet or rain by a sanitary shower appliance. Such a device makes it possible to systematically charge the piped water under pressure with various active substances.

The invention aims in particular to allow the physico-chemical activation of the water in hygienic showers and to make it possible, in general, to give running water to showers various specific properties, in particular: therapeutic, cosmetic -tological, aromatic, etc., just as can benefit from the still water in baths.

The means of obtaining these results, implying the presence of a device to be inserted, inserted or integrated in the piping or in the taps of the showering devices, relate to the technique of sanitary installations; they of course call for their supply of particular active products related to different branches of production of substances, such as pharmacy, perfumery, cosmetology, drugstore, etc.

Embodiments of the device will be described in this presentation. The specific active products capable of supplying them 40 are commercially available or are the subject of other publications.

Egyptian, Persian and Greco-Roman antiquity revealed the benefits of thermal baths. Nowadays, crenotherapy, favorably recognized by the medical profession, is commonly applied in spas, in the beneficial form of baths and showers of natural mineral waters. On the other hand, thalassotherapy, estimated by the medical profession, is commonly practiced and appreciated in the form of seawater baths,

activated by different inputs, such as algae. In addition, medicated soaps, cosmetological baths and aromatic baths are universally practiced at home. But still remains practically unknown the hygienic shower whose running water under pressure can, at will, become medicated, cosmetic, perfumed, etc. Currently, only 55 baths enjoy this privilege.

Indeed, many active substances and preparations can be mixed or dissolved in the still water of a bathtub; for example: aromatic salts, alkaline salts, sea salt; algae, starch, colloidal sulfur powders; 60 antiperspirant and deodorant preparations, various drugs. But these same substances could not be validly introduced inside the pipes, taps or nozzles, to continuously activate the water in the showers.

To activate the shower water, devices are known which are designed to emulsify or mix, in the shower water, either a liquid soap previously introduced into the device, or a solid washing product, in the form of a cream. or bread. These devices are effective for washing the body,

but they are of a high purchase price and, moreover, waste a significant quantity of special liquid detergent for showers.

Another known device concerns a revolver-shaped shower, exclusively reserved for obtaining foam showers.

Other devices allow the enrichment of shower water. These are devices comprising at least one chamber capable of accommodating a liquid addition product; a stop valve with two communication channels regulates the quantity of water which must pass through the chamber and regulates the admission of the adduct into the water stream.

Finally, a shower head has been proposed for showers, the movable grid of which can be unscrewed to allow the introduction of a product dissolvable in water. From experience, this device has proved ineffective as it stands. Indeed, any product of solid consistency soluble in water, introduced in bulk into a sprinkler, would pass through the holes in its grid; in powder form, in the case of granules or sea salt crystals for example, it would dissolve in a few seconds; finally, if this product was a mass, its disintegration would block the perforations in the grid.

Thus, the aforementioned known devices, although interesting,

are difficult to use because of their high cost price; other devices are unusable due to the lack of adequate active products.

The object of the present invention is to provide such a device which is of a construction and an advantageous price.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the presence of the characters set out in the first claim.

The dependent claims define advantageous embodiments of the subject of the invention, in conjunction with various forms in which the active substance can be used.

A statement of French patent application N ° 7517860 discloses the excipients capable of forming with specific active substances moldable aggregates, hydrofusible at pre-established temperatures. This presentation proposes the measures necessary for the proper functioning of the devices allowing the adequate supply, in finished active products, of the device which is the subject of the invention.

Similarly, this French presentation No. 7517860 proposes vehicles capable of liquefying, according to predetermined viscosities, specific active substances, so as to obtain finished products, capable of supplying the device which is the subject of the invention.

First process for activating shower water using an active product of solid consistency

The water emanating from a mixer tap, regulated at a constant temperature, can be activated physically and chemically, thanks to the insertion or integration of a small device at the tap or in the pipeline or in the nozzle of any irrigating device. This device, according to an embodiment of the invention, projects a bundle of closely spaced water jets (or possibly a spray of water) against the surface of an appropriate active product and more particularly of a special active product, formulated and solidified, in accordance with the parallel patent.

This naked special active product, or contained in a coating, or in a permeable sachet, occupies a supply store (and possibly turbulence), set up consecutively to receive it. It is placed opposite the perforated plate emitting the flow of pressurized water, which will gradually scour it.

This constant, slow and gradual hydrothermal scouring of the active product, as well as the hydrodynamic, directed agitation which it causes in the store, is sufficient to melt, dissolve, disperse, emulsify and entrain the dissociated particles of the product in water. active, thereby releasing in the shower, for example, its specific active ingredients.

The solid active products supplying the devices of this first process are of weight, volume, shape and covering suitable for the volume and the shape of the store that they must occupy in the device.

Any solidified active product described in the aforementioned French patent application No. 7517860 is produced and characterized by the fact that solid and solidifying excipients, which are water-soluble under pressure, at known temperatures, are combined with any specific active substances, and also which are capable of dissolving, dispersing, solvating and emulsifying, instantly,

in pressurized water of irrigators, these active substances of all origins: hydrophilic and hydrophobic, and of all consistencies: liquid, solid, gaseous.

Second method of activating shower water using an active product of liquid consistency

The second of the two methods consists in circulating running water under pressure, in the piping of any shower device, modified by the insertion or integration of another small device. This device, according to another form of the invention, is provided with a water pump which allows the flow of water passing through this pump to suck in the constantly renewed air, arriving in its room to empty; thus, the flow of water carries with it liquefied active product brought by the stream of aspirated air.

The liquid active product, supplying the devices of the second process, is distinguished first by the fact that, like the solid active product of the first process, it is necessary to add to its specific active substances solvents, wetting agents, solvents , dispersants and emulsifiers, judiciously chosen, so as to obtain with shower water, in addition to true solutions by its hydrophilic soluble components, colloidal solutions by its lipophilic and hydrophobic substances.

The liquid active product is further characterized by its viscosity coefficient which must be particularly precise.

The devices of the two methods can have various shapes, dimensions, structures and arrangements; they can be made of suitable alloy metals as well as various plastics. The devices, their accessories and the nozzles containing or supporting them can be colored, opaque, translucent or transparent.

Any device of the first method, using active products of solid consistency, essentially comprises a magazine whose shape and dimensions are suitable for receiving the active product, bare or coated, which it must contain. This store is a simple cavity which will necessarily pass, directly or indirectly, the shower water.

Independently of its store, any device can be provided with accessories to be inserted or inserted in the device itself, or to be integrated in the pipe of the showering device, in that of a flush or in the piping and / or the tap of a sprinkler system. These accessories include,

without this list being exhaustive: a water purifier, a mini water decalcifier, a turbulence chamber, a porthole, a melting control light, a thermometer, sieves, filters, non-return valves, ball or diaphragm check valves, sprinkler plugs, valve strainers, water aerators and tanks.

The devices and / or their accessories can be connected, inserted or integrated directly inside the piping, in or at the mixer tap of the shower, or at different points of the showering device, or even before the nozzle, inside the nozzle or as an extension of the nozzle. They are fixed permanently or removable.

It is a magazine tube, inside which is reserved a chamber 1 arranged to receive a cartridge-dose of solid active product 2. This device comprises, at the inlet of the water stream, therefore upstream of its magazine 1 with active cartridge 2, a non-return valve 6 provided with its stainless steel spring 7, the function of which is to suddenly cut off any untimely flow of the water piped into the magazine 1 where the active cartridge 2 is located, in order to avoid softening of this cartridge when the mixer tap is closed during a shower.

Still upstream of the magazine 1, with an active cartridge, there is incorporated a perforated plate capable of causing a bundle of close jets; Likewise, a mini water decalcifier can be incorporated.

This device comprises at the outlet of the water stream, therefore downstream of its magazine 1, a filter and / or a removable screen 9 dammed in the magazine tube 1; its function is, on the one hand, to contain the active cartridge 2 in its housing and, on the other hand, to retain, if it were necessary, particles not dissociated from the active cartridge 2 during its erosive dissociation .

Still downstream, or even upstream of the store, provision is made for the insertion of a turbulence chamber which can be connected either to the store or to any other point of the irrigating apparatus. The turbulence chamber can also be integrated into the interior of the store to become one with it.

This original turbulence chamber is agitator of the disaggregated particles of the active product, and aerator of the irrigated water. It also completes, if necessary, the dissolution, the dispersion, the solvation, the emulsion of these active particles in the flow of water. This turbulence chamber also has the power to charge the shower water with a multitude of air bubbles which lighten it and remove splashes from the spray of stacked water.

This turbulence chamber is actuated by an aerator or a water pump.

According to an embodiment of a turbulence chamber (fig-2):

It is a tube 10, of external appearance similar to the magazine tube 20 of FIG. 1, provided like it with 15/21 threads, allowing it to be connected. It internally comprises a water aerator or a water pump 11 whose vacuum chamber 12 is in correspondence with the outside air by a communication channel controlled by a needle valve plug or by a ball or membrane check valve. 13. Extension devices for nozzles

These are store devices in the form of boxes or any other fancy form, in particular in the form of flowers or fruits.

These store devices can be produced either in quality materials, when they are intended for permanent use and replenishable with active products, or in eco-friendly materials, if they are disposable after wear of a plural dose of active product.

The quality devices, internally comprising a magazine also forming an aerating turbulence chamber, can be made of noble plastic material, such as polya-45 mides resin: Nylon, Rilsan, or fluorine resin: Teflon.

The economic devices not comprising an aerating element can be made of molded injected plastic such as polystyrene or polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene), or even more economically in pure cellulose cardboard 50 waterproofed.

These device-housings, doubling by superposition the sprinkler head of the nozzle-sprayers, still have the advantage, being instantly removable, of being removed as quickly as they are applied. As a result, the rain integrity of the shower nozzle-55 is preserved. This nozzle can therefore be used as usual.

Such devices therefore hermetically extend the pipe of a nozzle; in other words, they double the apple of 60-wise nozzles.

It is this spray of water, previously brought into a predetermined temperature zone, which will cause the hydrofusion and simultaneously the water-solubilization and / or hydro-emulsification, by turbulence or turbulence and aeration, of the particles dissociated from the active product.

According to an embodiment of a nozzle extension device (fig. 3):

The device described below unifies its supply store for active products solidified with the turbulence chamber. In other words, the store includes the turbulence chamber.

This nozzle extension device can also be aerator of the pressurized water passing through it. In this case, it includes a mini water pump (or a water aerator) placed both upstream and downstream of the active product capsule (fig. 3). This device is divided into two main elements 14 and 15, which are connected together by any suitable waterproof system. The removable element 15 is fitted into the element 14 by any waterproof system with suitable counterpart. This element 15 is a store which can be supplied with various active products which are presented naked or in perforated capsules or in permeable sachets; it can therefore be converted accordingly. This store is designed to be irrigated, indirectly, through the perforated plate 16 of the apple 17, and directly through the perforated plate 20 of the aerator 19. Of course, it is possible to calibrate the perforations of the plates for obtain a final spray of activated / aerated water, more or less spraying.

The interior of the perforated plate 23 has in its center a support suitable for receiving dose capsules of solidified active product. In this case, the support of this device is a pal 24 surmounting a mini-promontory 25 which should serve as a base for the capsules-doses of active product, while leaving the outlet free for activated and aerated water.

This device is refillable with naked active products, bagged or preferably encapsulated. Any polyolefin capsule 26 intended to support a dose of active / poured / frozen product 27 inside the store / turbulence chamber 15 consists of a bucket pierced at its base 28 to allow it to be impaled,

as well in the mold pal which will carry the imprint of this capsule as in that of the support of the device.

This capsule has fins, perforated or not, capable of blocking the hydrodynamic circulation of the water currents passing through the device, in order to cause eddies and vortices in the turbulence chamber. The inside of the cup is tapped longitudinally, in order to fix the solidified active product there.

In fact, the aforementioned device doubles the sprinkler head of the shower nozzle. It has a store / room for turbulence which can be supplied with special active products, which are washed away under the effect of a spray of water under pressure, emanating from the superimposed spray head. It can also include a water aerator (or a water pump) integrated or external, downstream or upstream of the device.

Gadget devices

From a different point of view, but within the framework of the same design, it is possible to produce gadget devices which differ from the devices described above, by the fact that they are not incorporated into the piping of the shower appliances, nor to the valves, or to the nozzles, but that they adapt, in an instant, to the outlet of the nozzles. Indeed, although hanging in extension of a shower nozzle, these devices do not extend the pipe, since they are themselves directly sprayed by the spray of water emanating from the perforated plate of the adjuster apple.

These gadget devices are simple supports for solidified active product to be dispersed in water. They adapt to most of the hand shower nozzles as well as to the nozzles specially made to receive them. They are placed, preferably, centered on the axis of projection of rainwater from the shower, which avoids any splash.

These gadget devices, loaded with active product, therefore allow the activation of the water in the showers by sprinkling the solidified active product that they support. These devices support any active product which can be frozen at a predetermined temperature and is water-meltable, water-soluble and water-emulsifiable in a predetermined temperature zone,

- either on the surface and in its external cavities, if the device is waterproof,

These gadget devices can have the most varied shapes, colors and appearances, in particular those of flowers, fruits, animals, various objects. Some may even offer an artistic or utilitarian appeal, in order to be recoverable after use. They are therefore either replenished with solidified active product, or recoverable, or disposable.

These gadget devices are available in all materials, in particular: paper (greaseproof, waterproofed, crystal), waterproofed cellulose, fabric, nonwoven fabric, various plastics (polyolefins), metal, plasticized glass, ceramic, expanded plastic and any other retentive, absorbent, spongy, hollowed, perforated material, therefore capable of retaining in depth as on the surface of the solidified active product.

The gadget devices essentially comprise a suspensive system allowing their instantaneous application to the sprinkler head or to the perforated plate of the head of the shower fittings.

A suspensive medallion, multi-perforated and openable to introduce a dose of naked active product, bagged or encapsulated, is also possible in any material, respecting a hydrodynamic profile.

The means for applying such devices to the center of the perforated plate of the nozzles specially produced for this purpose are manifold: they are suspended by engagement, by locking, by screw socket, by bayonet socket, or by magnetic attraction, by for example, by replacing the perforated plate which covers the apples with the additives by a galvanized ferromagnetic perforated plate or by a perforated plate of anisotropic magnetic rubber.

Similar suspensive systems can be used to adapt these devices to commercial nozzles. One of the means consists in replacing the central screw which holds a large number of nozzles with a screw with a standardized pitch, the head of which has been fitted out accordingly and which will accompany the devices.

Faucet manufacturers could advantageously replace the central screw of their showers with a suspension screw.

Realizations of devices of the second process

Any device of the second method, using active products of liquid consistency, comprises a pneumatic system allowing it to sparingly spill the active liquid which it contains, directly or indirectly inside a piping of pressurized running water.

The pneumatic means used by the invention are: gravity and / or compression of gases and liquids and / or suction.

The preferred working principle of the invention is the suction of air caused by water, under pressure, passing through a water pump.

The devices of the second process are designed to be inserted, interposed or integrated at any point in the piping, or integrated in the taps or in the nozzles of the commercial shower appliances and in those specially fitted for this purpose.

Any device of the second method, based on vacuum suction, can therefore be integrated into various taps and even into mixing taps for cold and hot water, by incorporating a mini water pump. These devices can, in addition, either be an integral part of the nozzles, or extend them.

Any device of the second method can have various shapes, dimensions, structures and arrangements. It can be produced in suitable metals as well as in various plastics, such as polyamide resins (Nylon), cellulosic resins (Rhodoid), fluorinated resins (Teflon), polytrifluoroethylene resins (Voltalef or Kel-F), polyolefins (polypropylene and high density polyethylene), polystyrene, polycarbonate and all other suitable materials.

The device and the nozzles can be colored, transparent, translucent or opaque.

Regardless of the pneumatic system chosen and whatever the practical embodiment thereof, any device of the second method can be provided with accessories to be inserted or inserted in the device itself, or to be integrated into the pipe of sanitary and household appliances. These accessories are in particular a water purifier, a mini water decalcifier, a tank, filters, check valves, non-return valves, strainer valves, sieves, needle valve plugs, water aerators, precision taps: in particular needle, plug, float, piston, hydraulic push buttons, dip tubes, sprinklers, nozzle tips, etc.

All devices for active liquid products, using the property that gases have of being entrained by a liquid, have a vacuum pump, actuated by pressurized water from the shower. At the level of the vacuum bulb of the tube emerges the orifice of arrival of a duct sucking the outside air; at this same level emerges the orifice of arrival of a capillary tube and / or a nozzle abutting it, provider of active product; but this arrival of active liquid may as well lead into the very duct of the aspirated air. This atomization is itself sucked into the annular space of the tube, to finally dissolve and / or emulsify, immediately, in the shower water.

Facing the annular space 95 of the tube opens in the wall of the tube 83 a threaded orifice 96 into which the removable frame 97 is screwed with a check valve 98 made of flexible, chemically inert plastic material, such as Teflon, acrylic nitrile, polychloroprene, etc. On the outer wall of the mounting 97 of the valve is screwed the cinnamon 99 of a precision tap 100. The upper part of this cinnamon is extended to form a bowl 101 internally threaded, to receive a reservoir container 102 of the bulb type therein. to decant.

The flow of active liquid contained in the separating funnel 102 is controlled by the ball valve 100 or needle valve, which communicates the branch 103 of its cinnamon with the air intake channel 104 ending at right angles in the room vacuum 90 of the tube.

The precision valve 100 is therefore distinguished by the fact that it has an air intake channel passing therethrough longitudinally from one of its ends, to end in elbow around the periphery of its key.

The flow rate of the active liquid in the capillary channel 105 being commanded and controlled by the tap 100, the key of this tap makes it possible to simultaneously stop the arrival of the active liquid and the arrival of the sucked air, without however stopping the shower water flow. The air supply valve 100 can be replaced by a water push-button in the devices of the second method (fig. 6). Although the principle of aspiration of the liquid active product by water pump has proved to be the best for activating the water in the showers, the invention has also provided a system not comprising a water pump, but using the phenomena of gravity and capillarity by atmospheric pressure, phenomena which allow the pressure of liquids and gases to be balanced.
