Fig. 1 eine Leckdichtungsvorrichtung im Längsschnitt dargestellt,
Fig. 2 die Vorrichtung von Fig. 1 in Draufsicht,
Fig. 5 eine Variante eines Teiles der Vorrichtung von Fig. 1,

5. The device according to claim 4, characterized in that the seal at the end facing the pressing means comprises a substantially non-deformable and smaller in diameter than the other sealing washers (9).
The invention relates to a device for closing an opening, in particular a leak which has arisen, or for producing and reclosing an opening in the wall of a container which is filled with a flowable and free-flowing product.
The known leak sealing devices for such accidents, e.g. Threaded plugs, plug plugs etc. always require a plug that is precisely adapted to the opening in order to achieve a tight seal.
The object of the invention is to create a leak sealing or closing device which is at least partially independent of the opening.
According to the invention, this is achieved by means of a mandrel that can be moved relative to the wall of the container, with a pyramid-shaped tip that can be pushed through the wall of the container, and with a seal that can be displaced on the mandrel, closes the opening in the container wall and is at least partially deformable, and with that on the tip opposite end part of the mandrel on the same movable pressing means pressing the seal against the opening and its surroundings. The seal can be increasingly deformable when viewed against the tip and can consist of several layers.
In addition, the seal at the end facing the pressing means can have a pressing body which is essentially non-deformable by means of the pressing means and which is smaller in circumference than the other sealing layers.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. Show it:
1 shows a leak sealing device in longitudinal section,
2 shows the device of FIG. 1 in plan view,
3 shows the device of FIG. 1 in use, shown in longitudinal section,
FIG. 4 shows a detail of the device from FIG. 3, along the lines I-I,
5 shows a variant of a part of the device of FIG. 1,
Fig. 6 shows a variant of the device of Fig. 1 in section and on a larger scale.
1 has a mandrel
1, with a pyramid-shaped tip 2 at one end with a rhomboid base F (FIG. 4). At the other end, the mandrel is penetrated by a bolt 3, which serves to rotatably hold two disks 4. The disks 4 are rotatably supported about the bolt 3 by means of a bore which is eccentric with respect to the axis of rotation. Furthermore, the disks 4 are held together by a web 5 to which a handle 6 is attached. When the disks rotate in the direction R, the disks 4 move a thrust washer 7 which is arranged displaceably on the mandrel in the direction of the tip 2.
The elements 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 together form a pressing means. Following the pressure disk 7, disks forming a seal 8 are arranged displaceably on the mandrel 1 in the direction of the tip:
A sealing washer 9 consists of essentially solid, non-deformable material. Next to it are two differently deformable disks 10 and 11 (indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 4). The disk 11 is made of a well-known soft-elastic foam (generally also called foam), while the disk 10 is made of a tough-elastic foam. Etafon (trade name) is manufactured. To close a leak 12 e.g. in an oil barrel wall 13 (only indicated in FIGS. 3 and 4), the tip 2 is pushed through the crack or gap 12 and rotated by approximately 900 into the position shown in FIG. 4.
The handle 6 is then pivoted in the direction R, as a result of which the sealing disks 9, 10 and 11 are pressed sealingly against the barrel wall 13. 3 that the sealing in the area of the opening is strengthened at the source, so to speak, by means of the smaller disk 9, that is to say the surface pressure is greatest in the central area of the sealing disk 11. As a result, the force used for the sealing is advantageously applied in a concentrated manner on the one hand, and on the other hand the surroundings of the opening are nevertheless still affected by the layers 10 or. 11 additionally sealed.
So that the force P is transmitted from the disks 4 to the thrust washer 7 (FIG. 3) when the handle 6 is pivoted (as shown in FIG. 3) in the region of the cross section of the mandrel, the axis of rotation D can be shown in FIG. 5 Position of the handle 6 by a distance d from the pivot axis 3 '(identical to the axis of rotation of the bolt 3) in the direction of the handle 6. The size of the distance d must be determined from case to case.
The sealing layers can be circular, rectangular or any other e.g. have a shape adapted to the opening to be closed.
The variant of the closing device of Fig. 1 shown in Fig. 6 can also e.g. can be used as a can closing device. The variant comprises the following features that differ from FIG. 1:
The mandrel 1 is provided with an external thread 14 for receiving a rotary knob 15 provided with a matching internal thread. The rotary knob 15 serves as the pressing means already mentioned. At the opposite of the tip 2
the end of the mandrel 1, a terminating button 16 is firmly connected to the mandrel 1 by means of the thread 14. The use of this variant corresponds to the use of the device from FIG. 1, with the difference that the rotation of the tip by approx. 90 "by means of the end button 16 and the pressing of the seal by means of the rotary button turned on the thread 14 in the direction of the tip 2 15 happens.
The opening 12 can e.g. in the application of the variant of FIG. 6 are drilled through the tip 2 itself by exerting a pressure P 'on the terminating button 16.
