5. Contactor according to claim 1, characterized in that the flexible carrier is a plastic fabric.
6. Contactor according to claims 2 and 5, characterized in that the comb-shaped conductor systems are made of a galvanically or photochemically applied to the plastic fabric metal, in particular of nickel.
7. Contactor according to claim 1, characterized in that the carrier with the conductor systems to both Be th is covered with an absorbent textile material.
The invention relates to a response to moisture, the electrical contactor with two by one electrical
Isolation separate contact electrodes that are electrically connectable by wetting the insulation.
Such contactors are often used in medical areas, especially in patients suffering from enuresis nocturna, that is, in patients who have an adequate
Have not yet learned to control the bladder or cannot perceive the stimulus threshold that a full bladder causes.
The therapy followed is that the contactor detects the leakage of urine and triggers an alarm, which then wakes the patient up. This comes to you
Training the same way that the patient learns to control his bladder over time.
Known contactors of the type mentioned at the outset are, for example, the so-called wake-up mattresses. However, the response time of such wake-up mattresses is far too long to trigger the alarm with a sufficiently short delay.
It has been proven that there is a direct connection between the rapidity of the alarm trigger and the success of the training.
So-called contact lobes are also known, in which a two-pole cable with hygroscopic insulation is used
Flannel fabric is inserted. Diapers are also involved
Known metal threads. To create both the contact lobe and the type mentioned above, which is able to adapt easily to the anatomical conditions, that is to say is soft and conformable, and yet enables contacting with little delay.
For this purpose, the proposed contactor according to the invention is characterized in that the insulation is formed by a flat, flexible support on which two separate conductor systems are applied as contact electrodes.
Features of preferred embodiments can be found in the dependent claims.
An embodiment of the proposed contactor is described below purely by way of example with reference to the drawing.
In the single figure, a contactor 10 is shown in plan view in approximately natural size. This has a flexible, flat carrier 11, for example made of a plastic fabric, on which two conductor systems 12, 13 acting as contact electrodes are applied. The two conductor systems 12, 13 shown each have the shape of a comb and are arranged with respect to one another in such a way that the teeth 14 and 15 of the one conductor system 12 and 13 each fit into the gaps 17 and 16 between two teeth 15 and 14 of the other conductor system 13 and 12 extend.
On the uppermost tooth of each of the two conductor systems 12, 13 there is a riveted connection eyelet 18 and 19, each with a soldering tab 20 or 21. On the side facing the viewer, a strap section 22 made of a plastic film is attached to the plastic carrier 11 by means of the connecting eyelets 18, 19 and has a hole 23 in its center. A two-wire connection cable 24 is drawn through this hole 23, the wires 25, 26 of which separate after passing through the hole 23 and each lead to one of the soldering lugs 20, 21, where they are soldered on. The band section 22 thus serves as a local stiffening and above all as a strain relief for the solder joints between the wires 25, 26 and the solder lugs 20, 21.
In the corners of the trapezoidal contactor 10 there are holes 27 in which, for example, snap fasteners can be fastened, with which the contactor 10 can be buttoned, for example, in the inside of a pair of pants at the level of the genitals of the wearer. The dash-dotted line 28 indicates the outline of a cover made of absorbent textile material, for example a pocket, with which the plastic carrier 11 can be encased with the conductor systems 12, 13.
When the enuresis Nocturna is treated with the contactor 10 shown, it is achieved that the conductor systems 12, 13 can be short-circuited by very little liquid (urine), which means that contact is made. The wetting can also take place at localized locations without impairing contact. By making contact, for example, a small signal box 29, indicated only schematically and attached to the patient's shoulder, is switched on via the cable 24, which then generates an alarm tone.
In the shape of the conductor systems 12, 13 shown, erroneous contacting when the contactor 10 is folded in the longitudinal direction is made considerably more difficult. Since the material of the carrier 11 (plastic fabric) is well wettable but not absorbent, the contactor dries after the diapers mentioned have the disadvantage of an excessively long and, above all, an irregular response time. It is therefore a purpose of the invention to provide a contactor of wetting very quickly. In addition, the contactor shown is suitable for both female and male patients, regardless of their age.
