Abstract

The object of the seat is to allow children of a tender age to be transported in cars with maximum safety and in accordance with the regulations of the Highway Code. The seat comprises a rigid frame (6), a seat (1a), a backrest (2) fitted with a headrest (3), a device for holding the child against the backrest of the seat, armrests (4) and a footrest (5). The seat (1a) is mounted so that the height can be adjusted on the rigid frame. The latter is held in position between the front and rear seats of the car by a strap (10) for fastening to the backrest of the front seat.
