8. Piston compressor according to claim 1, characterized in that a cooling chamber (23) for the compressed air is arranged in the area of the cooling air outlet openings (17) in the engine compartment (3) or outside the engine compartment (3).
The invention relates to a dry-running, single- or multi-cylinder piston compressor with air cooling and oil-free crank mechanism and cylinders or cylinders protruding into the crank chamber.
Oil-free dry-running small compressors are known, where the unfiltered cooling air flows completely or partially through the engine compartment. The air required for compression is drawn in via damper filters on the cylinder head outside the engine compartment. The disadvantage of these ventilation concepts is that the engine compartment is dirty and that the noise of the intake valves has to be reduced using complex silencers.
Small compressors with relatively low compression ratios, in particular membrane compressors, are often built so that the compression air is drawn into the engine room via a filter and flows from the engine room into the compression room as a result of the membrane actuation.
This small amount of cooling air would, however, be insufficient to remove heat from the compression section of the compression ratios customary in piston compressors. In addition, this small amount of air would be heated considerably before entering the compression chamber.
The invention is based on the object, the possibility of flow through the oil-free engine with ambient air for intensive cooling of the compression section and the engine parts and in multi-cylinder designs for shear or post-cooling of the compressed air auszunüt zell and at the same time the filtered cooling air for the smaller part for the compression to use.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that one or more fans are arranged in the engine room, which generate an air flow that flows through one or more filters before entering the engine room and that the intake point of the compression air is arranged in the engine room.
The fan used to generate the air flow is advantageously arranged immediately after the filter section on the suction side and the branch flow of the compression air between the fan and the cylinder is removed and fed to the compression chamber via channels in the cylinder head, the cooling air flow before the outlet also being used for intermediate or
After cooling can be used.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. Show it
Fig. 1 shows the section through a single-cylinder compressor with a connecting rod drive and
Fig. 2 shows the section through a two-cylinder compressor with spring drive and with an electric motor built into the engine compartment.
In the examples according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the fan 6 draws the air flow 1 through a filter 5, which consists for example of a random fiber fleece. In the case of a construction with a crankshaft 7 mounted on one side (FIG. 1), the front housing wall 13 can be used to hold the filter 5, while in a construction according to FIG. 2 the air flow 1 is sucked in on the engine side through the filter 5 installed in the end cover 14. In both examples, the filter 5 is designed as a mat and placed between two perforated sheets 22 and 22a and held by a clamping ring 15 or clips 16 (FIG. 1). In the example according to FIG. 1, an axial fan is used as the fan 6, which is mounted on the crankshaft 7 on the fly. In the design according to FIG. 2, the fan 6 is a radial fan and is attached to the flying motor shaft end 26.
To prevent unfiltered foreign air from entering the engine room 3, the fan 6 is advantageously immediately after the filter 5 or. arranged after the inner perforated sheet 22a.
A slight overpressure is generated in the engine room 3 by dimensioning the area of all the cooling air outlet openings 17 in a manner adapted to the working characteristics of the fan 6. The orientation of the cooling air flow across the cylinders 12 is achieved in the example of FIG. 1 by the position of the outlet opening 17. The same can be achieved in the construction according to FIG. 2 by the arrangement of the passage openings 18 in the intermediate wall 19.
During the downward stroke of the piston 20, the compression air 2 is removed from the air flow 1 from the engine room 3 via an automatic suction valve 21. The amount of compression air 2 generally makes up a fraction of the amount of air flow 1. The compression air 2 between the fan 6 and the cylinder 12 is advantageously drawn out of the engine room 3. The connection of the suction point 8 of the compression air 2 with the compression space 4 is easiest through channels 9 in the cylinder head 10. In order to reduce the airborne sound propagation, which originates from the suction valve 21, into the engine compartment 3, a silencer 11, which is located under It may also be combined with a fine filter.
In the case of a design with more than one cylinder (FIG. 2), the openings of the pressure valve 27 can be connected to a common cooling space 23 via bores 24 in the cylinder head 10. The cooling space 23 is advantageously to be arranged in the area of the cooling air outlet openings 17. The cold room 23
can also be arranged outside the engine room 3, provided there is sufficient cooling of the compressed air in the bores 24 and the connections 29 to the cooling room 23. The fan or fans 6 are to be designed with respect to the delivery rate in such a way that the cooling air is not heated too strongly before it passes through the cooling space 23. In the case of two-stage compression, the cooling space 23 can be used for intermediate cooling, in which case the valves in the cylinder head 10 of the second stage are arranged such that the suction valve 21 is connected to the cooling space 23 via the bores 24.
The connection of the bore 24 in the cylinder head 10 with the cooling space 23 can be made, for example, via a pipe section with a seal 25.
