Abstract
The article made from transparent organic glass, such as a spectacle lens, lens or protective mask, is protected from scratches by a coating made from a soft plastic capable of self-healing, after scratching, in a time less than 60 s at 25 DEG C for a relative humidity of 80%, for example a lightly-crosslinked polyurethane. Longer healing times would lead to optical defects.
