Abstract
To achieve small dimensions, a stable and exact frequency and simple and inexpensive production, the vibrator (8) includes a structure which may be termed two-terminal. The geometrical arrangement of the electrodes (9, 10) on the two faces of the vibrator enable its branches to be vibrated in a direction parallel to their plane. The vibrator (8) is fixed to a support stud (17) made of an insulating material, such as ceramic. This stud is equipped with conductive coatings (18, 19) which are isolated from one another. Connection wires (20, 21) form the conductors of electrodes. <IMAGE>
