PATENTANSPRÜCHE

4. Displacement machine according to claim 3, characterized. that the body of the piston cap (9) has a radially inwardly extending extension (31) which is laterally supported in the direction of rotation in a guide bore (32) of the cylinder block (FIG. 2).
5. Displacement machine according to claim 4, characterized in that the guide extension (31) is designed as a piston sliding in the guide bore (32), the guide bore (32) being vented via a bore (33) in the cylinder block (Fig . 2).
The main patent relates to a positive displacement machine with a cylinder block, which has radial bores of rectangular cross section, in which pistons are arranged, each of which has a piston cap periodically exposed to the pressure of a medium and a roller mounted on the piston cap, and with at least one stroke having, the cylinder block surrounding cam, on which the rollers are supported. According to the claim of the main patent, each roller forms a variable gap with a first of the two side walls of the radial bores perpendicular to the direction of rotation, and the piston cap forms a sealing point with the second of the two mentioned side walls,
between the variable gap and the piston cap along the first side wall there is an intermediate pressure space which is exposed to the pressure of the medium via the gaps, and in the area of the end faces of the rollers the two side walls of the radial bores parallel to the direction of rotation also via feeds Are exposed to medium pressure.
In the main patent, embodiments of this displacement machine are described in which each piston cap is arranged with play between the two sides of the radial bore perpendicular to the direction of rotation, in such a way that the piston cap forms a fixed throttle with the first of the named side walls to feed the intermediate pressure space and against the second of said side walls sealingly.
In these embodiments, the piston cap and the distance between the two side walls perpendicular to the direction of rotation must be manufactured very precisely in the direction of rotation, since the play of the piston cap between the mentioned side walls forms the gap which in turn essentially determines the leakage of the piston assembly.
The aim of the present invention is to make it possible to dispense with maintaining tight tolerances in all dimensions in the direction of rotation. In addition, it has been shown that the leaks that are already present are sufficient for feeding the intermediate pressure space.
According to the invention, the displacement machine is characterized in that each piston cap is provided with adjusting sealing strips in the area of the two side walls of the radial bore perpendicular to the direction of rotation and that the intermediate pressure space located between the variable throttle gap and the one sealing strip of the piston cap has leakage gaps between the two side walls parallel to the direction of rotation the radial bore and the roller and piston cap is exposed to the pressure of the medium.
The formation of a gap between the piston cap and the one bore wall perpendicular to the direction of rotation is thus prevented by a second sealing point, while the intermediate space serving as a hydrostatic pressure field is fed with the intermediate pressure through leakage flow of the pressure medium through the leakage gaps at the end of the roller and the piston cap.
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing, in which matching components are identified with the same reference numerals as in the main patent. Show it:
FIGS. 1 and 2 show two exemplary embodiments with separate lateral sealing and support points.
In Fig. 1 and 2 piston arrangements are shown in which the piston cap of Fig. 2 of the main patent is provided with two sealing strips 9a and 9b. Each piston cap also has support elements 29a, 29b and 31 for absorbing the tilting moment of the piston, as will be explained below. The support elements here rest on surfaces of the cylinder block and are spatially separated from the sealing strips 9a, 9b.
The cam 12 and the roller 11 are the same as in the exemplary embodiments of the main patent, the piston bores 8 and 8 are the same or similar. The pocket 10 is under the same pressure p supplied via the bore 19 or 19 in the cylinder block 15 as the piston bore 8 or 8. The pressure in the space between the sealing strip 9a, the roller 11 and the bore wall 13 is caused by leakage gaps (not shown in FIGS. 1 and 2) between the end faces of the roller 11 or the piston cap 9 and the side walls of the piston bore 8 or 8 parallel to the direction of rotation received really.
since the cavity of the roller 11 is exposed to the pressure p of the medium via a bore in a side wall, as is shown in the main patent, FIGS. 6 and 7. As mentioned in the rest of the main patent, the roller 11 is pushed to the left by the inclination in the cam disk 12. As a result, the variable gap hc between the roller 11 and the bore wall becomes so small that the pressure pe maintained by the mentioned leakage gaps arises in the space mentioned.
According to FIG. 1, the sealing strips 9a and 9b, which determine the pressure distribution on the bore walls 13 and 14, are embedded in a cap body 9. The tilting moment caused by this pressure distribution on the cap body 9 corresponding to the schematic representation of the main patent is now absorbed by the upper cap body edges designed as support webs 29a and 29b. The minimum distance s of the support webs 29a and 29b from the rotary
The axis of the roller 11 is dependent on the distance b between the sealing strips 9a and 9b from the axis of rotation of the roller 11 and the minimum angle of inclination i of the cam disk 12.
The cam disk 12, the piston bore 8, the roller 11 and the pocket 10 are the same as for the piston assembly of the main patent. In the cap body 9 there are two additional bores 30a and 30b, which ensure the correct application of pressure between the support webs 29a, 29b and the sealing strips 9a, 9b.
The supporting force does not have to be absorbed by the bore walls 13 and 14: a smaller, peg-shaped extension 31 of a simplified cap body 9 ', arranged in a guide bore 32, is entirely sufficient here (FIG. 2).
This allows the most compact design of all, since the bottleneck in radial piston engines is caused by the radial depth of the wide bore, i. H. the walls 13 and 14 is formed, but this determines the outside diameter of the motor for a given displacement. This applies in particular when, with the aid of a lateral distribution, instead of the central distributor of the main patent, the distance s of the guide extension 31 can be selected to be large.
In addition, a piston-shaped design of the guide extension 31 and the venting of the guide bore 32 through a bore 33 allow the frictional force between the cap body 9 ′ and the roller 11 to be largely compensated.
In this case, the piston-shaped guide extension 31 must of course lie against the wall of the guide bore 32 in a sealing manner.
The cam 12, the roller 11, the pocket 10 and the sealing strips 9a, 9b are the same as in the embodiment of FIG. 1; the bore walls 13 and 14, the piston bore 8 'and the feed bore 19' are slightly changed in accordance with the new geometry.
