Abstract

The clock display has at least one setting circuit supplied by pulses from a pulse circuit having a much higher frequency than that of the known output pulses of the pulse divider circuit supplied by the clock oscillator. The information stored by the counter(s) is supplied to the comparator for comparison with the information stored by the preselector. The counters are controlled by the output pulses when the instantaneous values of the information represented by the counters and the information stored in the preselector agree. An alarm circuit may also be controlled from the setting circuit.
