Dans le but d'obvier à ces inconvénients et de permettre l'usinage en reprise de deux surfaces de révolution ayant le même axe, ou deux axes parallèles relativement proches, avec une grande précision tout en utilisant un matériel relativement simple et économique assurant une cadence de fabrication rapide, la machine-outil selon l'invention comprend un bâti supportant, d'une part, un dispositif d'usinage par enlèvement de matière et, d'autre part, une poupée porte-pince destinée à recevoir la pièce;

The object of the present invention is a machine tool intended to separately machine two surfaces of revolution on a reworked part.
A certain number of machines are known which allow the recovery of a part in order to carry out separately a certain number of machining operations which may be surfaces of revolution. These machines are generally designed particularly as a function of a part to be manufactured in very large series and are generally relatively complex and expensive.
On the other hand, particularly for the purpose of grinding interiors, are known machines which machine two surfaces of revolution, for example to grind the two ends of a hole enlarged in its central part, using a grinding wheel mounted on a shaft. long enough to allow grinding of the two surfaces by engaging the tool from a determined end of the workpiece, which presents certain difficulties and limitations when the hole is long and of small diameter.
With the aim of obviating these drawbacks and allowing the machining in recovery of two surfaces of revolution having the same axis, or two relatively close parallel axes, with great precision while using a relatively simple and economical equipment ensuring a of rapid manufacture, the machine tool according to the invention comprises a frame supporting, on the one hand, a machining device by removing material and, on the other hand, a clamp holder headstock intended to receive the part;
it is characterized by the fact that the clamp holder headstock comprises, on the one hand, a ring-shaped clamp intended to receive the part taken up so that one of its ends is in an initial position, in sight of a machining head, in order to allow the machining of the first surface of revolution, and, on the other hand, a rotation device ensuring a rotation of 180 of the collet headstock so that the part recovery has its other end facing the machining head to allow machining of the second surface of revolution.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of a machine tool according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a vertical sectional view, passing through the axis of the part, of the clamp holder headstock.
Fig. 2 is a side view, along the axis of the part, of the clamp holder doll.
Figs. 3 and 4 are two separate views from above of the gripper headstock.
In fig. 1, we can see schematically the frame 1 and a grinding wheel for grinding the interiors 2 carried by a machining head and constituting a machining device by removing material. The doll plate 3a, integral with the clamp holder doll 3b, is supported by the doll frame 4 integral with the frame. The ring-shaped clamp 5 is integral with the pin 6 mounted on the air bearing 7 with the air inlet 8. The clamp is tightened pneumatically and the release is controlled by the spring 9.
The hydraulic motor 10 controls the rotation of the headstock plate through 1800, which is facilitated by the air cushion injected by the nozzle 12, the small clearance necessary to maintain the air cushion being provided by support springs 14. The pneumatic adjustment system 13 controls the braking and precise immobilization on the determined working position.
In this exemplary embodiment, the part taken again may be a cylinder of axis XX 'corresponding to the axis of the clamp and comprising a hole cleared in its center in order to determine two interior surfaces of revolution, the first facing the machining head, being ground initially, then the other being ground in turn after the 1800 rotation of the collet head around the axis
YY '.
It goes without saying that the implantation of the part taken up in the clamp is determined as a function of the position of the tool carried by the machining head and the surfaces to be machined.
In fig. 2, we notice the headstock plate 3a, the collet holder headstock 3b and the headstock frame 4 as well as the clamp 5 and the spindle 6 driven in rapid rotation (determined according to the type of machining: grinding, milling or turning ) by motor 15 and gear train 16. The gripper headstock is mounted on the headstock plate by a slide so that it can be moved parallel to the plate and perpendicular to the axis
XX 'in order to carry out certain adjustments, either with the aid of the manual control 14 or with the aid of an automatic control (for example to compensate for the periodic sharpening of the grinding wheel of the machining head).
In fig. 3, we find the headstock plate 3a, the clamp carrier headstock 3b with its spindle 6, as well as the headstock frame 4. The manual control 14 is secured to the axis passing through the
bearing 3b 'and including a bearing to be mounted without play
axial on this bearing so that its threaded end screwed into the element
ment 3a 'integral with the doll plate controls the displacement
ment of the slide movement.
In fig. 4, we notice a detail of the gear train and
more particularly the wheel 16.1 integral with the pinion 16.2 driven
ning the teeth of the spindle 16.4 via the reference 16.3.
Note, on the other hand, the pneumatic adjustment system
and, more particularly, the furrow 13.2 commanding slows it down
of the rotation of the collet holder headstock and the calibrated hole 13.1
ensuring precise centering in the working position.
The machine tool described can be used to carry out all
rectification of two surfaces of revolution, each being rela
very close to one of the ends of the part, and this mainly in internal grinding, but also in external grinding (as long as there is enough room left to take the part in the clamp while ensuring good stability), noticing more particularly the following points:
By working only with the rotation of the collet headstock, two surfaces of revolution having the same axis and the same generatrix (identical diameters) are rectified.
By working with the rotation of the collet holder headstock and also the displacement by slide, the surfaces having the same axis but different generatrices (different diameters) are rectified.
Finally, by working by removing chips (turning or milling), it is possible to carry out a large number of particular operations up to the realization of two surfaces having different axes, but parallel (for example by using the possibility of rotation and translation of the collet holder headstock by immobilizing the spindle, machining being carried out only by the machining head with a rotary cutter or chisel).
It is also interesting to note that the automatic feeding of the gripper with parts is facilitated by the fact that it is possible to present the parts to be picked up by the rear face of the gripper headstock, or by the opposite one. to the machining head and, therefore, is not encumbered by the latter. Likewise, all the components being relatively simple, the addition of all usual control means can be done easily.
