Abstract

In order to obtain stable crystalline salts of formula <IMAGE> a solution of cephalosporanic acid (formula I, X = H) is reacted with a solution of a compound XQ (X = Li or an ammonium residue and Q = anion of an acid HQ of pKa of 4 or more) and the salt obtained is crystallised. The compounds exhibit antibacterial properties.
