Abstract

The razor comprises a cutting head with a moving blade (9) driven, by means of a transmission (10), by an electric motor (1). The motor comprises a stator formed by a cylinder (2) and by a magnet (3), and a rotor (5), and is powered by batteries by means of an electric circuit-carrying device (31). To make it possible to reduce the thickness of the razor, the cylinder (2) of the stator is incorporated in the body (6) of the razor. The body is thus arranged to serve as a reference element for mounting the cutting head, the magnet (3) and the bearings (15) supporting the shaft of the electric motor, and the electric circuit-carrying device, which facilitates assembly of the components and their positioning relative to the motor. <IMAGE>
