Abstract

The link-type band shown is used, in particular, as a bracelet or wristwatch strap. The link-type band can be easily shortened or lengthened by a non-specialist. The link-type band has U-profile links (1) located one beside the other transversely to the band direction. Said links are designed at both ends with arms (3) which are provided with hooks. Between the arms (3), two neighbouring side walls (2) engage into a longitudinal groove (6) of a connecting link (5). The latter is prevented from falling out by means of closure links (11), because these have a closing head (9) provided with grooves (10). On said closure head there is fitted a spring arm (12) with end hooks (13) which engage into a transverse groove (14) of the connecting link (5). <IMAGE>
