Fig. 5 zeigt hiezu eine verbesserte Ausführungsform.
Fig. 3) dem Innenquerschnitt des Antriebskupplungsteiles 15 entspricht.
Fig. 4 veranschaulicht eine mögliche Schaltung.
Fig. 2) grösser würde, würde damit der Filmtransport überhaupt abgeschaltet.
The invention relates to a motor-driven device having a drive coupling part driven by the motor. which is opposite an output coupling part that can be pretensioned in the sense of coupling and can be lifted off the drive coupling part by means of at least one electromagnet for decoupling, and with a switching device connected to the motor with at least two switching positions.
which each correspond to a different setpoint speed of the motor.
wherein the speed of the motor can be controlled by means of a motor control device in a predetermined control range.
Such a device has become known from DT-AS 1 263 497, for example. The switching device is the main switch of the device. in the working position of which the motor should have a predetermined speed, whereas in the switched-off position of this switch the target speed of the motor is zero. The known device, however, was not a mere coupling, but a coupling device.
through which one or the other clutch can be switched on. In any case, this applies to one of the two clutches.
that the electromagnet that actuates them must be energized for the entire duration of the engagement and disengagement. This is of course not possible any other way with the known construction. But if this principle is applied to devices with only a single coupling. so the disadvantage remains. that the magnet continuously draws current during operation, which is especially true for portable ones. battery-powered devices lead to rapid depletion of the voltage source and is therefore expensive and uncomfortable.
To remedy this disadvantage. is therefore proposed according to the invention. that a device for determining the actual speed of the motor is provided. the output signal of which can be fed to an input of a comparison device, the other input of which receives a signal corresponding to the setpoint speed of the motor. a deviation in the actual speed of the motor that goes beyond the control range of the motor control device results in a disengagement.
Devices for determining the actual speed of the engine are known in many different designs. So now.
The fact that the output signal of such a device is used to control the excitation current of the electromagnet results in the following operating mode: When the device is switched on, a predetermined setpoint speed is specified by the switch in the motor. Since the motor is initially at rest and must first run up, there is a strong output signal at the output of the comparison device, which excites the electromagnet and thus causes an immediate disengagement. Now the motor starts up and finally reaches its target speed. whereupon the excitation current of the electromagnet is switched off and the clutch engages.
The reverse process, however, takes place when the engine is switched off. When the motor switch is opened, the reference signal zero is supplied to the comparison device, while the motor does not stop immediately due to its inertia. This in turn results in a strong output signal at the output of the comparison device (the sign is irrelevant here). by which an immediate disengagement is effected until the engine has come to rest. When the motor is at rest, the clutch is engaged again.
In this way, the duration of the excitation of the electromagnet is limited to two relatively short times during start-up and run-down. so that electricity is saved.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention designed as a film camera is described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a camera, of which FIG. 2 illustrates details. 3 is a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2. FIG. 4 shows a block diagram with details of a possible implementation. 5 shows an improved embodiment for this purpose.
A camera 1 has on its outside an objective 2 with an optical axis 3, a shutter release 4 and an image frequency selector 5, with the aid of which the speed of a motor 6 arranged inside the camera can be adjusted. which motor is connected via a coupling 7 to a cinematographic lock 8 and a gripper mechanism (not shown).
In Fig. 2 these parts are shown in detail. It can be seen that the trigger 4 actuates a switch 9, with the aid of which the motor 6 can be connected to voltage via a terminal 10. In the line to the motor 6 there is a motor control circuit 11, one input of which is formed by the output of the adjusting device 5 a connected to the adjusting knob 5. With this, the value of the target speed of the motor 6 is input into the motor control circuit 11.
A toothed disk 13 is attached to the shaft 12 of the motor 6 and generates signals in a known manner in a coil 14 as a function of the actual speed of the motor 6. The output signal of the coil 14 is also fed, among other things, to the motor control circuit 11, in which a comparison is made between the setpoint and actual speed.
Furthermore, the drive coupling part 15 of the coupling 7 is keyed onto the motor shaft 12. As can be seen. the clutch 7 in the illustrated embodiment is designed as a cone clutch. however, according to FIG. 3, this conical coupling has a cross section that differs from the circular cross section. An output coupling part 16 lies opposite the drive coupling part 15. the cross section of which (cf. FIG. 3) corresponds to the inner cross section of the drive coupling part 15. Therefore, if the output coupling part 16 approaches the drive coupling part 15, the two parts initially come into frictional connection, so that the two speeds are matched. Only when the speed is exactly the same does the output coupling part 16 fit into the drive coupling part 15. whereupon a positive connection is given.
As can be seen. the output coupling part 16 is axially displaceable with the end of a shaft 17 aligned with the motor shaft 12. but connected to common rotation.
A compression spring 18 loads the output coupling part 16 in the direction of the drive coupling part. However, the output coupling part 16 can be lifted off against the action of the spring 18 by means of one or more magnets 19. For this purpose, the output coupling part 16 consists at least partially of a corresponding metal. The magnets 19 are mounted on a wall 20 that is fixed to the device and have a brake lining 21 on their outside, which cooperates with a counter brake lining 22 on the output coupling part 16.
Therefore, if the clutch 7 is decoupled by energizing the magnets 19, the shaft 17 is quickly braked by the braking effect of the linings 21, 22. In order to secure a position of the shutter 8 in which it interrupts the optical axis 3 in front of a film 23, a stopping device (not shown) common in cinema cameras is expediently provided for stopping the shutter 8 in the correct position. In Fig. 2, the gripper mechanism 24 for driving the film 23 is also shown.
In contrast to the known controls for a clutch magnet, the circuit shown for controlling the magnets 19 is constructed in this way. that the electricity consumption is relatively low. As can be seen. become the magnets
19 controlled by the output of a comparison device 25, one input of which is a signal corresponding to the target speed of the motor 6. the other input, however, receives a signal corresponding to the actual speed from the coil 14.
Disregarding the speed adjustment device 5, 5a, a signal corresponding to a predetermined target speed of the motor 6 is delivered to the comparison device 25 when the switch 9 is closed via the release button 4. Since the motor 6 is initially still at a standstill and can only run up slowly, a relatively large differential signal results, as a result of which the magnets 19 are excited and keep the clutch 7 in the disengaged state.
The magnets 19 are de-energized again only when the setpoint and actual speed approach the control range of the motor control device 11, whereupon the output coupling part 16 is coupled under the action of the spring 18.
When this coupling takes place depends on the run-up time of the motor 6, but also on the setpoint speed given by the adjusting device 5, 5a. If the release button 4 is finally released and the switch 9 is opened, the comparison device 25 receives the reference signal zero at its input, whereas a certain actual speed signal results from the coil 14 as the motor 6 coasts down.
The difference between the two signals in turn excites the magnets 19, which are thus again excited after the switch 9 is opened and disengage the clutch 7. Only when the motor shaft 12 is at a standstill, the difference between the setpoint and actual speed is therefore zero, the magnets 19 are de-energized again, whereupon the output coupling part 16 is pressed against the drive coupling part 15 again. The clutch 7 then remains in this position until the trigger 4 is actuated again.
4 illustrates one possible circuit. At one input of the comparison device 25 there is a release switch 9a connected to the release button 4, but this time it is closed when the release 4 is in the rest position.
The adjustment device 5a for the target speed consists essentially of a potentiometer. at the output of which a capacitor C and a relatively high resistance R are connected. Furthermore, a main camera switch 26 is provided, which is expediently automatically actuated when the camera is grasped, for example designed in accordance with Oe-PS 273 673.
In contrast to the circuit according to FIG. 2, the comparison device 25 (expediently a differential amplifier) is provided both for controlling the electromagnet 19 for the clutch 7 and for regulating the motor 6. As already mentioned. a comparison between the setpoint and actual speed must also be carried out when controlling the motor. By using a common comparison device 25, the circuit can therefore be designed correspondingly more simply.
Accordingly, the output signal of the comparison device 25 is fed to an oscillator circuit 11a of the motor control device and the pulse width of the pulses emitted by this circuit 11a is thus controlled. At the output of the oscillator circuit 11a there is a power stage 11b which finally supplies the motor 6 with current.
In the circuit shown in Fig. 4, a simplified device 14a for determining the actual speed of the motor is provided, in which only the electromotive counterforce (counter-e.m.k.) Is used to determine the actual speed. Although this type of determination is relatively imprecise due to the dependence on the battery voltage, it can occasionally be sufficient. The output signal of device 14a is then fed to the input for the actual speed of comparison device 25.
As mentioned, the output signal of the comparison device 25 also serves to control the magnet 19, in which it was processed via a limit value detector 27 and a power stage 28. The limit value detector 27 can be formed in the simplest case by two anti-parallel connected diodes, but in the illustrated embodiment consists of a special threshold value switch with two different response thresholds, so that a signal only appears at the output of this limit value detector 27 if a lower limit is exceeded or a upper limit is exceeded. The purpose of this limit value detector 27 is to prevent the magnet 19 from being excited even with small control deviations.
Only in the case of differential signals from the comparison device 25, which the control range of the motor control device I la. 1 1b above or below. the magnet 19 is supplied with current. However, this detector stage 27 can optionally be omitted. if, for example, the response threshold created by mechanical adjustment of the force of the spring 18 or the distances between the coupling part 16 and magnet 19 can be achieved.
FIG. 4 also shows a way of solving a problem. that can arise especially with cameras.
If a movement of the recorded object is to be filmed in slow motion and thus with increased motor speed during a film recording, the switchover can be made with the motor running, for example with the aid of the adjustment button 5 (FIG. 1).
In this way, however, a completely different setpoint speed than previously is specified, which would result in a signal at the output of the comparison device 25. which was sufficient to excite the magnet 19. Instead of the transport speed of the film 23 (cf. FIG. 2) increasing, the film transport would be switched off at all. In order to prevent this, according to FIG. 4, the trigger switch 9a is directly at an input of the comparison device 25, but the adjusting device 5a via the capacitor C acting as a timer and the high-resistance resistor R. Before the release button 4 is actuated, the adjusting device is thus 5a is briefly closed when the switch 9a is closed and only becomes effective after the switch 9a has been opened.
The timer in the form of the capacitor C does however. that changes in the setting of the adjustment device 5a only have such a slow effect on the comparison device 25. that their output signal is still within the control range of the motor control circuit 1 la, 1 lb.
A preferred possibility is shown in FIG. 5 in a circuit similar to FIG. however, the mechanical parts are omitted. A mono-flop 29, which acts as a timer and controls a switching device 30 between the output of the comparison device 25 and the clutch magnet 19, is connected to the adjustment device 5, 5a for the setpoint speed. Is turned on the adjustment knob 5. so this causes the mono-flop 29 to be switched over during a predetermined time. while the circuit to the electromagnet 19 is interrupted via the switching stage 30. After the time predetermined by the mono-flop 29 has elapsed, the circuit is closed again via the switching device 30.
The changes in the setting of the adjustment knob 5 can be queried, for example, by connecting a disk 3 1 to the knob 5. which is printed alternately with conductive and non-conductive surfaces. A grinder 32 cooperates with this disk 31. so that when the adjustment button 5 is turned at the input of the mono-flop 29, at least one pulse results.
which actuates the mono-flop 29 and thus interrupts the circuit to the magnet 19 for a predetermined period.
Of course, numerous different embodiments are conceivable. For example, the motor control device does not necessarily need to be formed by an electronic circuit. but can also be implemented in the form of a centrifugal governor or the like.
