Abstract
The composite precast plaster and porous concrete panel may be used in building construction to form walls or floors. The panels is of polygonal slab form with a plaster skin (2) on a porous concrete core (1). The panel may be rectangular and have complementary edge formations (4, 3) which provide for the interlocking of adjacently installed units.
Description

The present invention relates to a flat polygonal, preferably rectangular, in particular prefabricated, building element which is characterized by a porous concrete core and a plaster coating.
Such elements can in particular be used for making partitions or ceilings. The known elements are entirely in plaster. which makes them heavy. The present invention makes it possible to manufacture elements that are similar but much lighter, and which, despite their low weight, are more solid and allow perfect fixing of screws or other anchoring means.
The single figure of the appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the construction element forming the subject of the invention.
This construction element is shown in section and has a rectangular shape comprising a core I of porous concrete and a coating 2 of plaster. Such an element, which can advantageously be prefabricated according to the process described in Swiss patent N "548508, also has anchoring means intended to cooperate with complementary anchoring means of neighboring elements. These anchoring means comprise, on one of the short sides of the rectangular element described, a W-shaped groove 3 and, on the other side, a projection 4 in the form of W. As a variant, these anchoring means could be provided on the long sides of the rectangular element.
Porous concrete can be of any known quality.
The adhesion of plaster to porous concrete presents no problem.
CLAIM
Flat polygonal building element, characterized by a porous concrete core and a plaster coating.
SUB-CLAIM
Construction element according to claim. of generally rectangular shape, characterized in that it comprises anchoring means intended to cooperate with complementary anchoring means of neighboring elements.
