Abstract

The extrusion-applicator has two side plates inside which is a trough with a front wall, a back wall divided into two sections and a lid. A wiper-blade is attached to part of the back wall and projects beyond its lower edge. A connecting socket joined to the end of a pipe opens into the back wall section and a pipe leads into a container for the thermoplastic marking material. A scraper-plate is bolted to the bottom edge of the front wall. The free edge of the scraper-plate works in conjunction with the concave side of a cylindrical slide plate, to form a discharge slit with the free edge of the wiper-blade. The slide-plate is fixed by two rocker arms.
