Abstract
The screening housing and printed circuit board consists of a base, side walls and a screw-on top. The p.c. board sits on a ledge set into the tops of the four side walls. The p.c. board has a conducting border (13) on its top surface that forms its circuit's earth rail. This earth border is connected to the housing's screw-on top (1a) by elastic conducting beading (2) which is compressed between the border and the underside of the screw-on top to make good electrical contact. The advantage lies in giving adequate screening without damaging the board.
Description
The present invention relates to a printed circuit board built into a housing, which housing consists of a trough and a cover, at least the inner surface of which have at least partially electrically conductive surfaces.
As is known, especially with HF devices, there is the problem of keeping circuit boards or printed circuit boards (printed circuit boards) easily replaceable and still securing them mechanically flawlessly and at the same time effectively shielding them from electrical fields which external fields affect the circuit board or the components mounted there or can scatter outwards from these components.
The problem of fixing circuit boards can in principle be regarded as solved. For example, Swiss patent specification No. 413 013 shows a method for immovable clamping of circuit boards. In contrast, an effective shielding of elec tical fields on the contact surfaces of the circuit boards often creates difficulties. For this purpose, wave-shaped strips formed for example from bronze springs or shields consisting of sheet metal and overlapping the circuit board, which shields often rest on conductor tracks, are known.
These known embodiments have the disadvantage of either only clamping the circuit board in individual points or of only incompletely shielding it from stray electric fields or, in the case of improved designs, of damaging the conductor tracks as a result of relatively high contact pressures.
The invention aims to remedy these disadvantages.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that at least two inner tub side surfaces each have at least one shoulder to hold the circuit board, that the circuit board is at least partially provided all around at least on one side with at least one conductor track, and that for the electrical connection of such a conductor track to the housing between Conductor track and cover and / or conductor track and paragraph an elastic, electrically conductive element is clamped.
The inventive solution has the advantage that in a simple manner a plate acting on the entire circumference of a conductor, vibration-proof shielding against electrical cal fields, or a corresponding grounding can be achieved.
The figure shows, for example, a housing consisting of a housing base, housing wall and housing cover with a built-in circuit or printed circuit board 4. The circuit board 4 has a frame-shaped conductor track 3 as a grounding line along the outer edges. An electrically conductive pressure element 2 is inserted between the conductor track 3 and the housing cover in order to produce a galvanic connection from the conductor track 3 to the housing 1.
The pressure element 2 pressed together by housing 1 and housing cover la consists of a resilient, electrically conductive material and serves on the one hand for vibration-proof mounting of the circuit board 4 and on the other hand for the electrical connection between the housing 1 and the circuit board 4 in order to provide electrical connection via connections on the conductor track 3 Shield fields effectively.
In contrast to the exemplary embodiment, it is also conceivable to shield electrical fields by applying a potential different from the earth potential to the conductor track 3.
A graphite-containing round rubber cord or a rubber cord coated with conductive silver or a corresponding rubber band, for example, could be used as the material for such a pressure element 2.
