Fig. 1 ein erfindungsgemässes Verbindungsstück im Querschnitt;
Fig. 2 ein Teilschnitt der Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 und Fig. 4 zwei weitere Ausführungsformen im Schnitt;
Fig. 5 ein Schnitt nach der Linie V-V in Fig. 4;
The invention relates to a connecting piece for rods of awnings, roller shutters or the like, the rod parts of which to be connected are tubular at least in the area of the connecting ends.
The invention is based on the object of designing a connecting piece of this type in such a way that a secure hold at the respective connecting end is ensured with a simple structure and easy handling.
This is achieved with a connector of the type described at the beginning according to the invention in that the connector has an outer part to be arranged outside the connecting end and at least one expandable clamping piece to be inserted into the connecting end, in which a clamping member is arranged, and that the clamping piece and the clamping member against each other are movable by an actuating member which is provided in the area of the outer part. This training also ensures that the connecting ends of the linkage do not have to be processed in any way. B. is also not necessary to drill holes at the connection ends.
In a preferred embodiment, the clamping member is formed by a clamping wedge, which is preferably mounted movably relative to the clamping piece in the insertion direction of the clamping piece, so that it can be moved very easily.
The clamping piece can expediently be immovably connected to the outer part and preferably formed in one piece with it, wherein the clamping member can be movably mounted in the clamping piece, so that a simple structure and a relatively large length of the clamping piece result. It is also conceivable, however, that the tensioning element can be immovably connected to the outer part, preferably formed in one piece with it, and that in this case the tensioning element can be mounted movably relative to the outer part.
To achieve a particularly secure hold of the clamping piece, it can be provided with longitudinal slots, preferably in the manner of an internal collet. The longitudinal slots can extend as far as the free and / or approximately as far as the end of the clamping piece facing the outer part, so that it can be spread over a very large length.
In order to achieve a very high clamping effect, the clamping wedge can only have inclined wedge surfaces on two outer surfaces facing away from one another. It is also possible for longitudinal slots to be provided in the clamping piece exclusively on two sides of the clamping piece facing away from one another. In one embodiment, the longitudinal slots can be provided in the area of the wedge surfaces. Instead or in addition to this, however, the longitudinal slots can also be provided in the area of the sides of the clamping piece that are transverse to the wedge surfaces. In the latter case in particular, instead of longitudinal slots, recesses can be provided that are large enough that the clamping piece can only be formed by two freely projecting arms.
In the case of the clamping piece having a flat cross-section, the wedge surfaces and / or the longitudinal slots can advantageously be provided in the area of the narrow sides, so that the bracing can take place in particular in the area of the narrow sides of the connecting end.
Furthermore, the clamping wedge can rest against the wedge surfaces of the clamping piece with inclined counter-wedge surfaces, in particular the counter surfaces can only be provided over a part of the length of the clamping piece reaching to the free end, so that there is very good support of the clamping wedge.
The outer surfaces of the clamping wedge lying transversely to the wedge surfaces can be designed as sliding surfaces extending in the direction of movement of the clamping wedge, which are intended to slide against the inner surfaces of the connecting end or the clamping piece and ensure additional guidance of the clamping part. The centering of the clamping piece in the connection end can be improved even further if the outer surfaces of the clamping piece lying transversely to the wedge surfaces lie in the planes of the associated outer surfaces of the clamping wedge.
In order to be able to guide the clamping wedge even better with respect to the clamping element, the clamping element and the clamping wedge can engage in one another in the area of the wedge surfaces via tongue and groove, wherein the grooves can preferably be provided on the clamping element.
Very simple handling of the connecting piece is ensured if the clamping member and the clamping piece can be moved relative to one another by a threaded spindle, which preferably forms the actuating member directly with its head. In order to achieve a uniform clamping effect, the threaded spindle can lie in the central axis of the clamping member that is parallel to the direction of movement.
The threaded spindle can be arranged completely encased or covered if it is guided through a bore in the outer part, with its head preferably being provided sunk in the outer part.
In a further embodiment, the outer part can be designed as an end cover plate in the case of a connecting piece having only one clamping piece.
If two rods, for example two pipes, are to be connected to one another, two clamping pieces can be provided on the outer part, with the axes of the two associated threaded spindles preferably being able to intersect, so that they take up very little space. If the rod parts to be connected are to be at an angle to one another, the clamping pieces can also be at an angle to one another.
The connecting piece according to the invention can also be designed as a bearing, preferably provided with a bearing bore into which a screw bolt can be inserted, which can carry a bracket or a U-shaped bearing profile. Furthermore, the outer part can also be designed as a one-piece hinge, as a hook or as another member which, depending on the requirements, enables a further function of the connecting piece.
The connecting piece according to the invention is suitable for profile tubes with any cross-section.
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to some embodiments shown in the drawings. They are shown in FIG
1 shows a connecting piece according to the invention in cross section;
Fig. 2 is a partial section of Fig. 1;
3 and 4, two further embodiments in section;
Fig. 5 is a section along the line V-V in Fig. 4;
FIG. 6 shows a further embodiment in a representation corresponding to FIG. 3.
As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, a connecting piece according to the invention is used to connect the ends 4, 5 of two tubes 2, 3, which are provided as rods of an awning or the like.
The connecting piece 1 has an outer part 6 which lies outside the two connecting ends 4, 5 of the tubes 2, 3. The outer part 6 also has two legs which are at right angles to one another and which form two clamping pieces 7, 8, the outer surfaces of which rest essentially over the entire surface on the associated parts of the inner surfaces of the connecting ends 4, 5. The inserted into the connecting end 4 of the tube 2 clamping piece 7 is essentially formed by two opposing, freely projecting clamping arms 9, which can be provided with longitudinal slots and on their one of the facing inner surfaces 10 in the region of their ends as inclined counter-sliding surfaces for the system of Wedge surfaces 12 of a clamping wedge 11 are formed.
The wedge surfaces 12 and the mating wedge surfaces 10 converge towards the off senteil 6, so that by pulling in the plate-shaped clamping wedge 11, which is provided with the wedge surfaces 12 only on its narrow sides, into the clamping piece 7, the clamping arms
9 spread and pressed against the associated inner surfaces of the connecting end 4 of the tube 2.
In the direction of movement of arrow 13 with central axis 11, the clamping wedge has a continuous threaded bore 14 into which a threaded spindle 15 engages.
The threaded spindle 15 is from the outer side 17 of the facing away from the connecting end 4 or from its end face
Outer part 6 inserted through a bore 18 provided in this, in such a way that its head 16 is sunk in this outer side 17. Seen in the longitudinal direction of the pipe 2, the
Outer part 6 same outer dimensions as pipe 2.
The second clamping piece 8 is at right angles to the clamping piece
7 from the outer part 6, wherein it overlaps the clamping wedge 19 at its Aussenflä lying at right angles to its wedge surfaces with webs 20, so that the clamping wedge 19 in the
Clamping piece 8 is safely performed. The clamping piece 8 form the clamping arms are not provided with slots. Furthermore, the clamping surfaces 21 of the clamping piece 8 are roughened or z. B.
formed tooth-like profiled. The threaded spindle 22 of the
Clamping wedge 19 is at right angles to the threaded spindle 15, the central axes of the two threaded spindles 15, 22 intersecting one another. For the head 23 of the threaded spindle 22, a deep countersunk hole is provided in the outer part 6, through which the threaded spindle 15 is passed at right angles. After removing the threaded spindle 15 from the connecting piece 1, the head 23 of the threaded spindle 22 is thus accessible through the bore 24 with a screwdriver.
Seen in the longitudinal direction of the pipe 3, the outer part 6 has the same outline as the pipe 3.
In FIGS. 3 to 6 corresponding parts have the same reference numbers as in FIGS. 1 and 2, but with the index a in FIG. 3, with the index b in FIGS. 4 and 5 and in FIG. 6 with the index c used.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, in contrast to
Training according to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the clamping wedge 1 1a formed in one piece with the outer part 6a, while the
Clamping piece 7a in the direction of arrow 13a opposite the outer part
6a is slidably mounted. For this purpose, the thread is despindel 15a by one in the outer part 6a and the
Clamping wedge 11a provided through hole 18a passed through, with its end in a threaded hole
14a of the clamping piece 7a engages. The clamping piece 7a is approximately U-shaped, in such a way that two clamping arms 9a are formed, which rest with their inner opposing wedge surfaces 10a on the wedge surfaces 12a of the clamping wedge 11a. By
Moving the clamping piece 7a in the direction of the outer part 6a, the clamping arms 9a are spread so that they against the
Inner surfaces of the connecting end 4a are pressed.
How
Fig. 3 also shows, the outer part 6a is plate-shaped forms, with this outer part 6a, for example, only that in
Fig. 3 shown clamping piece 7a with clamping wedge 1 1a vorgese hen, so that a terminating piece with the conclusion of
End 4a of the tube 2a is formed.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the clamping piece 7b is integral with the outer part 6b of the
Connecting piece lb formed, wherein the clamping wedge 1 1b on both wedge surfaces 12b via this protruding longitudinal webs
25, which lie in the middle of the width of the wedge surfaces 12b and in corresponding grooves 26 in the mating wedge surfaces
10b of the clamping arms 9b engage. The connecting piece 16 can also be designed as a terminating piece of the end 46 of the tube 2b.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 6 is the
Outer part 6c of the connecting piece 1c, which can also be designed as an end piece, designed as a bearing and provided with a bearing bore 27, the axis of which
Axis of the threaded spindle 15c intersects at right angles and the countersunk hole for receiving the head 16c of the
Threaded spindle 15c penetrates, the diameter of the
Bearing bore 27 is equal to the diameter of this Senkboh tion. The axis of the bearing bore 27 is at right angles to the outer surfaces of the clamping wedge IIc, which are provided at right angles to its wedge surfaces 12c.
