Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wiedergabe-Ausrüstung für besprochene Tonbänder, z.B. von Büchern und dergleichen, bestehend aus einem Tonband-Wiedergabegerät und einem Satz dazu passender Magazine, deren jedes eine Mehrzahl von Kassetten mit besprochenen Tonbändern enthält.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass das Wiedergabegerät eine tunnelartige Öffnung zum Einschieben eines der genannten Magazine, zwei Führungsschienen parallel und längs dieser Öffnung, ein auf diesen Schienen verfahrbares Wiedergabe Tonkopfaggregat, Antriebsmittel zum Bewegen dieses Aggregates längs der Schienen sowie zum Antrieb der in dem eingeschobenen Magazin befindlichen Tonbandspulen, ein Tastenfeld mit einer der Anzahl Tonbänder in jedem Magazin gleichen Anzahl von Positionswahl-Tasten sowie Steuermittel aufweist, welche dafür sorgen, dass das Tonkopfaggregat bei Betätigung einer Positionswahl-Taste sich in die dieser zugeordnete Position verschiebt und mit dem an dieser befindlichen Tonband in Wirkungsverbindung zwecks Wiedergabe der betreffenden Band-Information tritt.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt. Es zeigen:

Figur 4 einen schematischen Längsschnitt durch eine Kassette und das mit deren Tonband in Wirkungsverbindung stehende Tonkopfaggregat.
Ein Tonbandmagazin 10 enthält eine Anzahl einzelner Tonband-Kassetten 12, im dargestellten Beispiel 9 1-9, nebeneinander. Ein Satz solcher Magazine 10 sind zweckmässig in einem Stapelschrank 14 untergebracht, in dessen Fächern 16 die Magazine herausschiebbar aufbewahrt sind.
Das Wiedergabegerät W weist ein Gehäuse 20 mit einer tunnelartigen Öffnung 22 auf, in welche eines der Kassettenmagazine 10 eingeschoben werden kann, ferner einen Lautsprecher 24 und eine elektronische Schaltung mit Vorverstärker und Verstärker sowie ein Wiedergabe-Tonkopfaggregat 26, welches auf zwei parallel zur tunnelartigen Öffnung 22 verlaufenden Führungsschienen 28 verfahrbar ist.
Ferner weist das Gerät W Antriebsmittel zum Bewegen des Tonkopfaggregates 26 längs der Schienen 28 sowie zum Antrieb der in dem eingeschobenen Magazin 10 befindlichen Tonbandspulen 34 bzw. 26 (Fig. 4) auf.
Aussen am Gehäuse 22 befindet sich ein Tastenfeld 31 mit einer der Anzahl der Tonbänder 32 in jedem Magazin 10 gleicher Anzahl Positionswahl-Tasten 30, deren jede einer bestimmten Position 29 des Magazin-Tunnels 22 zugeordnet ist. Das Gerät W ist mit einer an sich bekannten Steuerung versehen, die den Antrieb so steuert, dass das Tonkopfaggregat 26 bei Betätigung einer Taste 30 an die dieser Taste zugeordnete Position 29 gefahren und dort arretiert wird, worauf sich der Abnahme-Tonkopf gemäss Fig. 4 durch eine Öffnung 33 (Fig.
1) der betreffenden Kassette senkt und zwecks Wiedergabe der Bandinformation und dem Band 32 in Wirkungsverbindung tritt.
Der Einfachheit halber können die Antriebsmittel mit den Kassetten 1-9 des jeweils eingeschobenen Magazins 10 derart zusammenwirken, dass die Bandspulen 34 bzw. 36 aller Kassetten 1-9 miteinander angetrieben werden, während selbstverständlich nur die Information eines Bandes durch den Lautsprecher 24 wiedergegeben wird.
The invention relates to playback equipment for recorded tapes, e.g. of books and the like, consisting of a tape player and a set of matching magazines, each of which contains a plurality of cassettes with recorded tapes.
The invention consists in that the playback device has a tunnel-like opening for inserting one of the magazines mentioned, two guide rails parallel and along this opening, a playback tape head unit that can be moved on these rails, drive means for moving this unit along the rails and for driving the inserted magazine located tape reels, a keypad with one of the number of tapes in each magazine has the same number of position selection buttons and control means that ensure that the tape head unit moves when a position selection button is pressed into the position assigned to this and with the tape located on this enters into operative connection for the purpose of reproducing the relevant tape information.

A tape magazine 10 contains a number of individual tape cassettes 12, in the example shown 9 1-9, side by side. A set of such magazines 10 are expediently housed in a stacking cabinet 14, in whose compartments 16 the magazines are stored so that they can be pushed out.
The playback device W has a housing 20 with a tunnel-like opening 22 into which one of the cassette magazines 10 can be inserted, furthermore a loudspeaker 24 and an electronic circuit with preamplifier and amplifier as well as a playback sound head unit 26, which has two parallel to the tunnel-like opening 22 extending guide rails 28 is movable.
Furthermore, the device W has drive means for moving the audio head assembly 26 along the rails 28 and for driving the tape reels 34 and 26 (FIG. 4) located in the inserted magazine 10.
Outside on the housing 22 is a keypad 31 with one of the number of tapes 32 in each magazine 10, the same number of position selection buttons 30, each of which is assigned to a specific position 29 of the magazine tunnel 22. The device W is provided with a control known per se which controls the drive in such a way that when a key 30 is actuated, the tape head assembly 26 is moved to the position 29 assigned to this key and is locked there, whereupon the pick-up tape head according to FIG through an opening 33 (Fig.
1) lowers the cassette in question and comes into operative connection for the purpose of reproducing the tape information and tape 32
For the sake of simplicity, the drive means can interact with the cassettes 1-9 of the inserted magazine 10 in such a way that the tape reels 34 or 36 of all cassettes 1-9 are driven together, while of course only the information of one tape is reproduced through the loudspeaker 24.
