Fig. 1 einen Schnitt durch das Kopfkissen und
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 1.

The well-known, not loud alarm clock radios are often overheard by people who are fast asleep. With noisy devices, interference from other people is a disadvantage.
The object of the present invention is now to create an additional loudspeaker device with which it is possible to safely wake up with an alarm clock radio without alarming the surrounding area.
For this purpose, according to the invention, a loudspeaker is built into a suitably designed pillow, which is connected to the loudspeaker connection of an alarm clock radio by means of a cable and plug.
The person lying with his head on the pillow according to the invention has his ears so close to the sound source that a safe wake-up is normally guaranteed without disturbing the surroundings with alarm clock noise.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely show:
Fig. 1 is a section through the pillow and
FIG. 2 shows a plan view of FIG. 1.
A pillow 1 specially designed for the purpose according to the invention has three superimposed layers 2, 3, 4, of which the bottom and top layers 2 and 4 are made of cushioning material, while the middle layer is made of semi-hard, flexible foam. A loudspeaker 5, preferably a transistor radio loudspeaker, is installed in the central position of the middle layer 3 and is fixed by gluing. The two layers 1 and 3 form, in the area of the loudspeaker, elastic parts 6 provided with perforations for the passage of the sound waves. 7 is a cable which can be connected to the loudspeaker connection of the alarm clock radio by means of a plug. The whole is provided with a cover 8, which also has the perforation of the parts 6 on the top and bottom of the cushion.
The loudspeaker 5 is located in a cylindrical housing that expands upwards and downwards in order to counteract an undesired falling out of the middle layer.
The alarm clock radio is usually set up some distance from where the person to be woken up is sleeping. The sound of the alarm clock radio is generated via the cable connection 7 in the loudspeaker 5 of the pillow. In this way, the wake-up signal is mainly heard by the person using the pillow. This has the advantage that if several people are sleeping in the same room, the surroundings are not frightened and disturbed by noise.
