The present invention relates to a ski-bob comprising two rear skis independently connected to the frame by two separate suspension devices.
This ski-bob is characterized by the fact that the two suspension devices are associated respectively with two twin elements, independent of each other, of the frame.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. I is a side elevation view.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional view, along line II-II of FIG. 1.
The ski-bob shown is constituted by a frame 20, a seat 21, a steering column 22, a front steering ski 23, a handlebar 24 and two rear skis 26.
The connection between the steering column 22 and the front ski 23 is made by a torsion damper 50.
The frame 20 is formed of a frame, partly single, partly double.
The simple part of the frame consists of a tube 41, of square section, bent so as to form a section on which the seat 21 is mounted, a section carrying the pivot axis of the column 22 and an intermediate section.
The double part of the frame consists of two flat profiles 42, serving as a footrest, two profiles 44, of square section, and two double connecting rods 45 connected on the one hand to the profiles 44 by means of two pins 46 and on the other hand articulated to the sections 42 by means of two torsion dampers 47.
The two parts of the frame are interconnected by pins 48 and 49.
The frame 20 is mounted on the rear skis by means of two separate suspension devices each constituted by two pairs of double connecting rods 51 connected to each other by an axis 52 and articulated to the section 42 and to the corresponding rear ski. 26 by means of torsion dampers 53, respectively 54.
The main advantage of the ski-bob described lies in the fact that it behaves in a manner similar to skis, without a scooter. the user's feet constantly resting on the plates 43.
CLAIM
Ski-bob comprising two rear skis connected independently to the frame by two separate suspension devices, characterized in that the two suspension devices (51, 52, 53, 54) are respectively associated with two twin elements (42). independent from each other, from the chassis.
SUB-CLAIM
Ski-bob according to claim, characterized in that said twin elements (42) of the frame are respectively connected to two other twin elements (45) of the frame, by means of two torsion dampers (47).
